Looks great, fun to use!
Quick & easy to use, to clean, and to store. Fun design, fun to use. Minimalist. Works in power outages ;-)I use mine to make organic walnut butter. It takes about a minute, is absolutely fresh, is about half the cost of buying ready-made, and eliminates packaging (normally glass jar + lid). Ingredients: organic walnuts. That’s it. 3 pulls yields chopped nuts, but for my purposes I give it 30 pulls to yield a nice fine texture about like brown sugar. I store my “walnut dust” in a reusable container in the fridge. At breakfast, I drizzle olive oil on toast, then put a spoonful of my walnut dust on the bread and spread it around with the back of the spoon. Tastes great as is, or top it with cinnamon. At first I assumed I’d add some oil to make the consistency more like peanut butter (which you can do by adding an oil of your choice), but I prefer the mealy dust consistency for simplicity’s sake: faster to make, no mess to clean up, easier to store, zero waste.New topic: I routinely make one dish skillet meals using half a dozen or so different veggies, and I initially bought this hoping to speed up veggie prep, but I wasn’t thrilled with the results for that purpose. Within the first few pulls, you end up with partly pureed mush and partly unchopped pieces. If you keep pulling to make the big pieces smaller, you end up with ever more mush…more like a smoothie. Cooked veggie smoothie anyone? Exactly. So I’d recommend using this for things you want to puree…salad dressings, marinades, sauces, dessert toppings, guacamole…and of course it’s great for chopping nuts. For veggies though, I went back to using a knife. (Feb. 2019 update: for veggies & hard fruits like apples, I’ve been using, and recommend, Presto 02970 Professional SaladShooter Electric Slicer/Shredder. I use it every day.)Would definitely buy again. Has paid for itself many times over.(2019 Feb. update: I’ve been using the Zyliss for over two years now and it’s still going strong!)[2023 Nov. update: it’s *still* working fine! Mostly using to chop frozen walnuts, which are not easy on it; although I’m careful not to overload it…just doing a medium handful at a time. Also for processing cilantro and/or parsley with nuts & oil etc for quick/easy pesto type condiments.]

Amazing Must-Have Kitchen Tool
I’ve had one of these for years, my mom had one and i had to get one for myself. Bought 2 for gifts. I use this to shred meat, any vegetable, fruit. It’s a staple in our kitchen for any and all meal prep. Easy to clean up, sharp blades (so be careful) and so slick. I’ve also used it to chop nuts, make salsa, and like i said, shred meat, made chicken salad with this tool. Highly recommend.

Easy to use
I purchased this item because the mini food processor I had would get stuck when chopping nuts. This food processor worked like a champ. I just chopped fish cake, water chestnuts, and green onions for a dip. It usually takes me some time to do this by hand and the food processor did it so easily. Easy to use, easy to clean. Great purchase!

The most amazing product in the universe
I absolutely love this! I have bought them for friends and family. This chopper is amazing. It replaces my food processor for 90% of the things I do.You can make salsa, chicken salad, guacamole, salad dressing, breadcrumbs, egg salad, chopped vegetables, meat, bread products, anything, bacon whatever!I could not live without this thing! I hate onions for spaghetti sauce for example theyâre never small enough and it takes forever. You can quarter an onion, put it in the chopper and in 10 seconds have perfectly chopped onions for spaghetti sauce or whateverPut Roma tomatoes, basil, peppers onions and you have salsa in under 30 secondsAvocado, cilantro, lime, Bermuda onion, guacamole in no timeBoiled chicken put it in the chopper and shredded Add celery directly to the chopper and have chicken salad and voila! Chicken salad in no timeI love BLTs but canât eat crispy bacon. Cook the bacon in the oven and put it in the chopper and it basically turns into a spread you can put on lettuce tomato bread miracle whip. The best BLT you will ever have

Works well. Effective.
Have purchased a number of different ones with differing mechanisms to engage chopping. Very effective/efficient compared to all others. Have to chop/ground all foods for all meals every day. Use it a few times a day. My only criticism is that water gets into the hole out of which the pull string comes and eventually rots it. It breaks. We go through about 3 a year, but it gets a beating, the little thing. I continue to purchase it, and wish you could just order the lid with the handle and string. Blades and container are very hardy.

The BEST but BE CAREFUL!
I love this product. It’s easy and convenient to use. It’s even better than an electrical unit. HOWEVER, the blades are EXTREMELY SHARP so please be careful!!! Trust me…learned the hard way. Only use a long handle brush!

Works good !
I have a ‘baby’ Cuisinart chopper/blender and this is a great sub for when power is out or when traveling where electric is not available. I have used it 3 times and it breaks up food just fine. Missing all my teeth, from years of attrition, these kind of devices allow me to eat hard fruits and vegetables. One for the win !

Works really well, not flimsy like other similar products. The pull handle is big and comfortable. As stated on the headline, we bought one for ourself used for months now happily, now bought 4 more to gift to loved ones.

I am not good at chopping fine with my big clumsy hands. For mincing this is really great. I basically needed a small-scale food processor. If you already have a food processor stick with that, if if you don’t want a giant counter top appliance for light-duty usage, then get this. It’s smaller than my salad spinner so it’s very easy to store under the counter. Quick, light and easy to use.A food processor is so bulky and setting it up and breaking it down for cleaning is only worth the trouble if you have a big volume of food to prepare. Like it’s not worth even using a food processor for a handful of onions or garlic. But this little device is perfect for those situations. If you only cook for one or two people, get the zyliss. If you cook for four or more people you’d probably want a food processor.Protip: Don’t put the sharp blades in the dishwasher and they’ll last forever. Just spray them with some diluted dishsoap in a spray bottle and then rinse them off at the tap.

Why did no one tell me about this little gadget years ago?! It is going to change my life in the kitchen and save so much time! I cook a lot. I’m always chopping vegetables and I hate it. I also have carpal tunnel so all that time chopping really takes a toll on my hands. This little chopper is amazing! I used it tonight for the first time to make chilli. In my chilli, I wanted to sneak in some veggies as my family don’t eat enough. I chopped some mushrooms very finely and cauliflower (sounds weird, but it works). The vegetable pieces were so small that once they were in the chilli and left to simmer for a bit, they disappeared. My husband HATES cauliflower – detests it and he didn’t even notice them in the chilli. I also used leftover cauliflower to make cauliflower rice and it was so easy compared to me trying to chop it up with a knife. The best part of my meal? Making guacamole. In the past, I’ve had to dice the tomatoes really small and even then, my child would pick them out. This time, I used the chopper to cut up the tomatoes til they were almost a sauce and then added lemon juice and avocado. The consistency was so good and delicious. My daughter loved it.I can see myself having a very happy life with this little chopper and will use it for sauces, smoothies and maybe even baking (e.g grinding nuts or oats)

I had one of these and sadly had it too close to the burner and the lid melted a bit. I was heart broken so I finally ordered a new one. Love it just as much, but sad that it’s an inch smaller than the last one I had. But still a great product. Highly recommend. Great for cutting onions and not crying! Also good for harder veggies like carrots and sweet potato!
