Great value, excellent for 8 years
I have owned this set and used it daily since 2016, and it looks as new as it did then. It’s an absolutely wonderful set of silverware. The weight is perfect, it’s durable, and it’s elegant as well. My mother has the same set of 45 (also owned for at least 8 years), and I’m going to order the 45-piece set for my father now as well. These are great for daily use and entertaining. I also have a chef’s knife by the same company, and it’s made of excellent quality as well.

Very happy with this stainless set, no rust problems, understated elegant simplicity
I got my first 8 place serving set (45-Pieces) free as a gift from work (one of those catalog reward items for so many years of being there). I liked it.After 5 months of using the Provence stainless I ordered a 2nd set from Amazon. The quality appears to match my first set. Now I have a 16 place set and I’m ready for most any holiday onslaught of visitation by friends and relatives. Having a double set (90 Piece total) has allowed me to purge all my “hodgepodge” stainless, which I have bagged up and put away.I have large hands and these feel right to me. They are not heavy and neither do I find them wimpy. They work fine for me and I would not change anything about them.This stainless is easy to clean and unlike some reviews here of “Proveance” by Henckels, I myself have never had any rust problems with them. Not one iota. Disclaimer: I have high quality city water. Maybe those with acidic or hard water that they treat, etc – I don’t know if that’s a factor in their reported issues. I can just say the stuff cleans well in my dishwasher with Cascade, looks great. I’m a happy camper. I feel this is fairly priced for what you get.Note: There are no, what I would call old-skool style “soup spoons” in this set — by “old skool” soup spoons I mean the circular shaped hemi-spherical spoons. What you get instead: The larger of the two place setting spoons, the Tablespoon, is not that much smaller in size from the actual SERVING spoon in size. (OK it’s probably 20% smaller). This is not a big deal to me. You certainly can eat soup with the Table, it’s just a bit biggish. I actually use those Tablespoons ** as ** serving spoons for lesser condiment bowls on occasion if need be. Just to reassure you: The regular TEAspoons are sized normally.

Formal Looking Flatware at a Casual Price!
We had a set of stainless steel flatware purchased many years ago. It was ok, but plain and low quality. We decided to splurge and find a new, quality set made from 18/10 stainless steel (the best). Did our due diligence, read hundreds of tests and reviews, and purchased this Zwilling Provence as it also fit our budget. I would say, it is beautiful with a subdued, but elegant design, and polished to a mirror finish. The forks and spoons arenât too skinny nor too fat. The knife handles are a little more robust and feel great in the hand. The knives are serrated, but be forewarned, they are sharp too! I can cut a steak without grabbing a steak knife. We hand wash, and air dry without any spots showing. We canât find any imperfections. They may be at a casual dining price, but would look impressive on any formal dining table too! Included a pic of the Zwilling all set in the drawer.

I have always wanted a good stainless steel flatware set. This set is outstanding. Their design is elegant. I look forward to using them everyday. They feel heavy in your hand and make eating a little more pleasurable.

Great. But…
The set is great (matches the one we’ve had for years) except for one large spoon. It is scratched (picture doesn’t do it justice). And while you can’t see it, there is also a sharp spot on the side of the spoon. Will have to return unless seller will allow an exchange for just one piece?

We purchased the original set of this pattern quite a few years ago and it still looks great. We decided to increase our number of place settings, so purchased it again. The set is a perfect match for the original. A great set of silverware for the price.

Beautiful, high quality
This set of Zwilling flatware is better than we had hoped for. They look fantastic, are of substantial weight and are well-balanced. But beware⦠the knives are very sharp. I would not be surprised if they could sit in for steak knives.We got the set on sale for $100, but thatâs not why we chose them. We liked the look more than others we saw, and we felt that we could trust the brand, based on our experience. The note from Amazon, that Zwilling products are infrequently returned, helped as well.If you donât find this set on sale, donât worry⦠they are worth full price.

This is a premium set. The weight is solid and the styling is unique. We have been looking for a new set of cutlery for over a year. When my wife and I saw this set it was an instant âYESâThey have been through the dishwasher about 6 times now. Initially there was some hard water spots. In subsequent washes with a rinse aid adjustment, the problem has corrected itself.It seemed that the first wash cycle produced the most water spots then after that the problem disappeared. That could be a residue issue left over from the manufacturing process.Be cautious with the knives, they are sharp and are serious âmeat cuttersâ!

It’s difficult ordering cutlery online as you can’t see it or hold it. That said I trusted the name Henckel from my culinary management days. I found the Provence pattern and immediately liked the look of it and took that leap of faith. I’m happy to say I’m glad I did. They wash up well and I’m careful to rinse off any acidic material and use the heat dry setting on the dishwasher. The handles feel good in my arthritic hands, not too thin nor are they too heavy feeling. The teaspoons are little longer but it has ended being a good thing for my husband’s travel mug stirring his coffee. They look good for a casual dinner and just as nice for a fancy Sunday dinner.So happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend this make and pattern to anyone looking for a new cutlery set or for a present. 10 / 10 in every aspect.

We bought this to expand our 7 yr old set, these are almost identical. These look the same but are slightly thinner and the knives are not as sharp as the old ones. Even after 7 years use.Edit:we have had a few spots begin rusting on the new set in the dishwasher. But it only happened the once. This is definitely a cheaper made set than our older sets, as all pieces are lighter and thinner. Hopefully they will last.
