In between a professional sharpening.
Easy to useI’m still learning how to best sharpen my knives and scissors with this sharpener.I’ve not gotten my edges as sharp as a professional sharpening would but getting closer.I’d recommend for general tune up then every so many years a professional one. Depending on how often and how you use your knives of course. The scissors option is a nice addition. Takes a moment to figure out the angles and how to hold it though.

I must have tool in the kitchen
I have a set of Zwilling of knifes. This is a must have to keep them in top shape. Taking care of the knifes and using them they way they are intended to be used, prolonged their sharpness decreasing the need to sharpen them more often. When it is time to do so, this tool is very practical. I like it had western and japanese knife sharpener as the blades have a different degrees (20 degrees both sides vs 15 degrees one side) in their cutting end. It can also sharpen scissors. It is a must have in the kitchen.

Big Fan
Bought this knife sharpener and the one aspect of it that I love the most is that it DOESNâT SLIDE AROUND. So many cheaper sharpeners slide around on the table when sharpening and it grinds my gears to say the least. This sharper does a pretty good job and lays firm on the counter when I use it. Overall, big fan of this product.

Keeps knives and scissors SHARP!
This has to be the best knife and scissor sharpener on the market. Just one or two strokes to keep knives and scissors very sharp!

works great
takes a little bit getting used to…but after some practice, knifes are getting sharp again.

Between a honing rod and a motorized sharpener, but does the job
You wonât get a fine knife back to a true razorâs edge, but this is perfectly adequate and convenient to maintain a decent edge between professional sharpenings. Itâs easier to use and store than an oiled stone. Oh, and the scissor sharpener is genius. I have 4 pairs of scissors that are functional again that would have been tossed.

Not for use with quality knives
I had been using a Zwilling sharpener for several years (on left) in between sharpening with my stones with excellent results. The old one was wearing out so I ordered what I felt would be a comparable replacement. The only thing I can say about the one on the right is that it will take the edge off a knife.

Zwilling tends to be overpriced but always solid. This sharpener feels nice, sturdy and does the job well.
