I was watching a famous Aussie (New Zealander maybe?) teaching chef on YouTube and saw him use this brown pot cover. I started to wonder, what in the world and why?Then it hit me! This is wood cover for any and all pots and pans you don’t have a lid for! Bought this and it has made my culinary day! I got one big enough for all my pans; cast-iron Lodge, carbon-steel Matfer, cast-iron stock, etc!Love it! Not one pan boiled over when trying to have the water boil over! It stayed cool to the touch! Dries quickly! Smells fantastic by itself! This has been a great addition to my collection! Get one! You will not regret it!

Fits a 14″ wok with a tight seal, stays cool to the touch on top of the wok, does not retain cooking oders, cleans up with soap and water. And it looks very nice. Great quality, light weight, tight fit, easy clean and good looks. You will like it.

After trying a few other Amazon products of wooden pot lids out, this was by far my favourite one. The other ones I tried were either too small or too fragile/cracked when steam came through. This product is really good because even after using it for a while it still has not cracked or deteriorated at all from the original quality. The lid is quite light which is great and doesn’t let any steam out from the edges of the lid which is why I returned a different Amazon order I purchased. I have a 35cm wok pot and this 34cm lid fits perfectly. Before purchasing the product, looking at the photos, I though that the handle one the lid would look too large or be awkward looking. However, it actually turned out great, just big enough to hold the lid and not too big to look out of place. Overall very happy with the product.
