if anything, this knife is a bit too sharp, as my wife found out. You definitely do NOT touch it. And herein lies the only criticism : the knife comes with a guard for the tip. It should have a comprehensive guard over the whole cutting edge. I have a mitre saw that has that kind of guard, and I am going to transfer that after cleaning. Sharpest knife I ever owned.
