There are various grades of knives, even within a well known brand, with the lesser grades being less worthy.These are very sharp and well balanced and the serrated edges are barely noticeable but really get the job done. These were a little pricey but worth every dime. Too bad they don’t come in a set of six.

No other brand can compete with WÃSTHOF. The quality, durability, and functionality of these knives is unbeatable. I bought my first set 20 years ago and I still have the majority of them. The ones I had to replace (cracked handles) were replaced for FREE by WÃSTHOF, which offers an impressive customer service. I have never placed any of my knives in the dishwasher and I keep them on the wooden block; I suppose that helps! Totally worth it!

Just wanted to warn people about fakes. Ordered these knives and received the package today. The box in the package is the real Wusthof box. However, it was clearly opened and closed with clear tape later. The knives inside are some Allwin-Houseware knives that look like and feel like $2 Dollarama knives.
