Bought these to replace older Wusthof knives that had gone missing. Were slightly larger than our previous ones but still fit perfectly into our older storage block. Were sharp right away. Excellent quality.

This brand of knives is worth every penny. I have had my original set of knives for 15 years, and after many sharpening I have broken and lost a few. This was a nice addition to my collection without having to break the bank. These knives are worth every penny and then some. Very sharp product so please be cautious.

True Disappointment
Used the knives once. Realized after hand-washing the knives, a cap to a rivet was missing. This is a true manufacturing defect and safety concern. Did anyone ingest the metal cap. Impossible to get in touch with manufacturer. They stated it would take weeks to replace because of COVID. I promptly returned the knives. Never again!

I purchased a WÃSTHOF Gourmet 4-Piece Steak Knife Set from Amazon in 2023 as well as a WÃSTHOF Gourmet 3″ Paring Knife. All 5 of these knives are starting to “fall apart” – one rivet has come out and all the others are “pitting”, eroding (metal is disappearing) as well as losing their shine. The rivets don’t seem to be made of stainless steel – they look like aluminum. I also purchased a WÃSTHOF Classic 5″ Serrated Utility Knife but the 3 rivets on that knife remain shiny and strong – no degradation at all. I’ve owned WÃSTHOF knives for decades and this is my first bad experience with them.
