Simple and effective
This is a great sharpener. Gives you the options for regular and Japanese knives. Thatâs appreciated. It is small enough to tuck away in a tiny New York apartment. Very easy to use. Simple for even a novice cook. Great gift idea to go along with that new knife you bought your daughter.

Just what I needed
My wusof set was so dull my chef knife was such a joke and I donât know how to use the steel rod that came with mine. I got this itâs so easy to use and brought my set right back to life

Very Disappointed
I’d accept the “Made in China” crap, if I were happy with the product. The coarse grit is not coarse enough. Would not get the edge of my chef’s knives as the angle does not match the unit’s angle. Worked on it for a good 30 minutes with no effect. Would probably be OK if it had a third slot for a lower number grit.This knife sharpener would also be OK for knives that are already sharp, but lost the edge where one would use a sharpening stick. Sending it back.Back to my sharpening stones.
