Lovely, Affordable Flatware (Medium not Lightweight)
More than half of my flatware was lost in a move from SF to LA and it was one of many things I needed to replace or buy for my new home. I quickly bought some inexpensive flatware and it was awful- lightweight, flimsy. So I figured I would have to spend more or go to a thrift store. I decided to give this set a try because of the reviews. Most liked it, though one reviewer considered it rather lightweight which concerned me. I was pleasantly surprised when I got this set. It was much prettier than expected and in my opinion it is medium weight and does not feel flimsy and is comfortable to eat with. (I just ordered one more set.). It’s dishwasher safe. It is far better quality than the first flatware I ordered. The cheap set also had really shallow small teaspoons that were practically flat, whereas in this set the teaspoons are big enough, and are actual teaspoons. The salad forks are also the right size, not too short. I really like the set and think it’s a great deal.

Quality. Shiny. Recommended.
I was gifted a set of these for Christmas a year ago. I liked them, thought they were balanced well, and were durable, so I bought a matching set (because who wants to do dishes every time you use four of one utensil?). The price was right and am really happy with the purchase. To speak to the durability and quality of these, I had a small spoon fall into the garbage disposal when it was on. It got chewed up for a few seconds. The spoon is definitely still usable, but is a bit dinged up. I’ll choose a good condition spoon before I choose the damaged one, but if the damaged one is that last one clean, I’ll still use it.As a note, the ‘dinner spoon’ is quite large. My brother asked why I had eight (two sets worth) serving spoons. Sometimes you just have to say ‘Murica. But note that these are made in China.Would recommend.

Nice heft to the utensils
Nice heft to the utensils. The sizes are good too, especially the spoons. Sometimes I find that newer silverware have spoons that are way too large…guess it’s that bigger-is-always-better mentality. The design is attractive and matches my geometric squares dinnerware. The quality is actually pretty good on this set. The edges are smooth. The edges on the spoons are rounded and thick…some cheap flatware can have edges that are thin and straight cut, giving a rough and uncomfortable feel to them. The tines on the fork are nice and pointy. However, I did deduct one star because the butter knives aren’t as nicely serrated as I’d like. Yes, yes…they’re called “butter” knives, but the truth is that I used the butter knives from my old Oneida set to cut into things like cooked roasts and chicken on my plate. The vintage Oneidas are not quite as sharp as a steak knife, but they do really well. These don’t cut squat. I have to use a lot of pressure to saw at things or use it along with a fork to just pull items apart. The serration is there but is very, very shallow.

Love these
This was the set I chose when walmart was stocking them. My kitchen is a mixture of harlequin diamonds stripes and checks. I bought a set of Gibson mosaic dishes and cafe Versailles in red. The checked pattern of the tableware was perfect!

Very nice
I really like these. They were the most inexpensive set I could find. they are durable and fairly well made. That being said, I need to add that I bought them for camping. I gotta tell you if you are buying them for everyday use they are ok. They are a little lightweight to me, and one of the spoons had some pitts in the back side. But if you are looking for an outstanding set of flatware for camping, I highly reccommend this set. It is very durable, looks nice, and is cheaper than some reusable plastic sets I have seen. The only drawback is that you’ll have to wash them instead of throwing them away or burning them, which is bad for the environment anyway. All-in-all a great set.

Not a bad set for day-to-day use, but I wouldn’t try to impress your friends with these.
This set of silverware looks great. But they feel very cheap, I guess because they are so light. Less important, the edges of the handles on my knives are all fairly sharp–I’m not sure if this is just an error in manufacturing or if this is how all the knives are made. Not a bad set for day-to-day use, but I wouldn’t try to impress your friends with these.

Just the right weight and balance I was looking for in flatware for daily use.
Trying to find a flatware set for daily use has been a challenge, but these actually are a nice balanced set. They feel like a quality made set. Look great! Hopefully with proper care they will last as long as the set I replaced with the set these are replacing were. The last set I had was not great all around and I got them IN a store not online. Now, its time to eat some snacks with the small spoon and see how the new ones are. Good value

Solid Utensils
After moving out on my own, I realized I could only reuse free plastic utensils for so long.I checked out the local TJ Maxx but did not want to spend $40 on stainless steel utensils since I am a college student. You would think for the price that these would be flimsy, but they weren’t. Also, the checkered design looks pretty classy and hides fingerprints.Pros-Inexpensive-Solid materialCons-The prongs of the fork were a little sharp. This may sound ridiculous, but I almost stabbed myself with the prongs for the first couple of months that I owned this.
