Lovely wooden spoons
We have 2 long handles wooden spoons and enjoy using them. This set of four looked like a great addition, especially since beechwood is resistant to warping and cracking. They will not discolor food or alter the taste.They are elongated, making it easier to insert in jars, and have the measurement engraved visibly. That and the length of each measuring spoon makes it intuitive to take the right one.The smoothness and the nice finish show good workmanship, and I expect them to last a long time (like our other two long handle ones). Note that the hole for the leather strap is small and elongated. If you want to hang them individually, it is best to attach a string to each one. They won’t fit on our hooks, not even the thin ones.

Cute, cute, cute!
These measuring spoons are absolutely adorable. The handles are short. They come just as you see them in the picture, tied together on a leather loop. I plan to use mine more as decor than as serious cooking tools; at my ripe old age I already have several sets of measuring spoons and don’t need them for that purpose. If you need them as measuring spoons I am sure they would work just fine. But I have a plaque with a Julia Child quote (“I enjoy cooking with wine. Sometimes, I even put it in the food.”) and I am planning to hang these cuties with it.
