Pie crust turned out perfect!
I ordered a set of two deep-dish pie plates to use for our Christmas morning quiche and an apple pie. I intend to use this every holiday season and wanted something attractive that my daughter or granddaughters can use after I’m gone when they host holiday meals, so durability is important.These are pretty, functional, and ensure a crisp bottom crust. Before ordering, I had researched the best type of cookware for pie crusts and found most expert bakers preferred porcelain, and this did not disappoint!I love how deep they are (who doesn’t love a deep-dish apple pie?!?), and the scalloped edge makes them extra pretty.They are surprisingly easy to clean as well. I chose not to put them in the dishwasher, but you can. I simply let the plates cool and soaked them in hot soapy water. After about 10 minutes, I used a scrubby sponge and they looked new again. I highly recommend these a pretty, practical, and very effective baking dish that will last for many years.

Absolutely love this pie dish. While I’m not a pie baker, I do cook up a pretty tasty chicken pot pie. I bought these to serve out of for a dinner party. They didn’t disappoint. The pie crust baked perfectly and clean up was a breeze. I received lots of compliments on how pretty they were. I purchased two and both arrived extremely well packed. I like the bakeware so much, I bought my granddaughter a set of three casserole dishes. She loved them!

I eat Keto and love quiche which means no crusts. These heavy duty ceramic pie pans are just what the doctor ordered. Cook at 325°F instead of 350°F for crustless. 167°f to 175°f center custard temperature is perfect.
