Miniature commercial tongs
They are very well made, exactly as good as commercial tongs, thick and heavy, no issues with construction!I do own a tape measure and did know how big they were when I ordered, wanted a compact tool because my needs are simpleThat said, the geometry of it’s bigger brother @ 9″ is perfect for it’s size, when you shrink the length down to the 7″ here, it becomes a different animal, you need to grab most of it’s length in order to close it with any force, so you end up with your fingers a few inches from your hot pot/panAdditionally, the 9″ variant has more room between the flanges on the back side of each tong, so a sponge easily squeezes between them when washing, these 7″ tongs have too little room for a sponge to fit, so they won’t get technically as clean as I’d like each timeI still gave them 5 stars because they are as-advertised and very well made, definite keepers!For cold applications, they’re perfect!You’d beat anyone to the punch in the buffet line with inferior tongs, easily!!

Absolutely perfect tongs at an unbeatable price.
Essential for every home chef. Tongs are a must have in your kitchen, and these are absolutely professional grade. I have several sets and I use them daily for salads, deep frying, roasting, smoking, flipping bacon, removing hot lids from my pots, plating food, etc. I have two sets of the 7″ and two sets of the 12″. I recommend the longer set as they will better protect your hand from the heat. I’ve been cooking at a high level for almost 30 years, and these are the best tongs I’ve ever used.

They are super small. That is my fault though! I should have looked better at it. They are good for cocktails, not grill. You will burn your hand.

Pleasant Surprise
I needed a medium size tongs for everyday use. These had good reviews and the price was right. When I got them, I found out they were smaller than I expected and there were 2 of them. They are good, restaraunt quality. They are Winco brand. Though it was not what I was expecting, these little tongs are the perfect size for us. There’s no lock but that’s ok.

I love this size and reach for these over the longer ones, especially the longer ones thy require releasing a clip of some kind! I have a small crock by the stove for spatulas and wooden spoons. I hang this size over the rim, one side in, one side out! No tangling with other utensils and easy to grab . . . which I do a lot!

Once I got them I thought it was humorous how small they are. They do match the description and are of decent quality and completely useless why I gave it a 3 star.
