    One Perfect Cutting Board
Awesome cutting board. Worth every penny. Bought this as a gift for my wife but really for myself. We both love it. The size is perfect, large without being cumbersome and it’s thickness is great. I read a review by a man who claims that buying a polyethylene plastic cutting board thicker than 1/2 inch is a waste of money because you’ll never wear the board out before the surface is shot from knife cuts. True as that may be, there is a good reason for buying a thick cutting board like this one. We put it right up next to the sink. Any scraps from cutting veggies or fruit or whatever, we scrap or wipe them right into the sink because its higher than the sink lip. Some reviewers have said that the 1/2 inch boards warp, this one is 1 inch thick and not a chance of that happening. Another reviewer (of a large Winco polyethylene board 18 x 24) claims the surface showed signs of damaged in shipping. Ours does have some surface imperfections that are textural on the very surface, not dents or knicks or sunken areas, that do not hinder the boards performance. It looks more like areas of dullness compared to the more glossy surface. Having some knowledge of manufacturing of injected molded products, there is always some surface inconsistencies on a large chunk of plastic like this as the cooling rate is different from one end to the other. Our board was not damaged in shipping and the shrink wrap in-tacked. The board does have a textural pattern for gripping but its not real aggressive. Another reviewer claims that two 1/2 boards were glued together to make one. Simply not true. Plastic injected parts require two dies usually that come together, the plastic is injected into the cavity, and when cool, the two dies come apart to release the product leaving a line exactly where the two dies touch. The cutting board is tough and wearing great, very easy to wipe it up from one veggies/fruit juice to another, and it is still small enough to put in the sink to deep clean and let dry. The size is perfect for most food items, even a big turkey. Downside, no juice groove/well to catch excess liquids and it is pretty heavy although not a problem for us. It also does not fit in our dish washer. I don’t think it would need to be cleaned in the dishwasher because it is non porous and very easy to clean by hand with soap and water. It looks so good we keep it out on the counter. It easily stores away though if we need the extra counter space. After reading 50-60 reviews for wood cutting boards, I quickly realized I am not someone who wants to oil a cutting board and, even then, have it fall apart after a few months. No, this board is for life and looks great without all the fuss. So nice to have a product thats beautifully simple and does its job perfectly without all the nonsense. Highly recommend.

    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
Great size (20″x16″x1″), heavy enough to stay put, easy on knives.Washing does require a bit of careful manipulation over the (traditionally-sized double) sink in order to avoid a flood on the floor, but it’s not hard. Those with large sinks wouldn’t have an issue.I like the 1″ thickness and the plain, flat, reversible surface. No wasted space with a cut-out handle or liquid trench. Just a good, plain workhorse of a cutting board.Winco makes some really great products! Thank you!

    Good and affordable.
So far I bought 2 of these. They’re pretty sturdy, and held up fine. It is thick and somewhat heavy, respectable to its size.If you are in need of cutting boards, this one may do well for you. I will buy more as needed.

Unbeatable price for my NON-Cutting board use.
Absolutely unbeatable price for a very durable slap of polyurethane board. I bought it to fabricate a stable platform for a custom seat in my Intex Excursion Pro K2. A very popular and affordable inflatable kayak. This is perfect in size and shape. I was going to use some plywood with marine carpet over it originally. But when you add up all the materials and adhesive not to mention time building it provided you have the tools, its far more expensive than this excellent alternative. Not only is this polyurethane board obviously completely waterproof, it’s a full 1″ thick and doesn’t require any edge sanding. It is smooth enough right out of the box to not have to worry about puncturing the kayak walls or inflatable floor. I added some heavy duty velcro to the bottom to attach to the existing velcro strips built into the kayak floor and boom, done! I may add a couple cheap webbing straps to keep the seat even more stable but as is, between the cost of the upgrade seat, this “Cutting Board” and various materials, this game changing seat mod costs less than $45 for a massive comfort upgrade. Where I could maybe spend and hour on the kayaks stock inflatable seat before, now I can go all day and actually enjoy my kayak without my back hating me. But hay, if all you are doing is using this as a cutting board, I’m sure it will last a long time.

Wow! Very solid Winco plastic cutting board.
Even though I read the specs of this cutting board, I am very surprised at how unexpectedly big, thick, heavy and solid it is. I’ve used it twice. It’s easy on my knife and has plenty of room to chop, slice, filet, pound and prep whatever you want. It lacks a juice groove but i find it unnecessary. I put a piece of plastic shelf liner underneath it and it didn’t budge no matter how much I pounded. It’s a great piece of kitchen prep equipment and an unbelievable value for the sale price. Even at the regular price, I highly recommend.

    Full 1” Thick. Seems Durable
I actually bought it to cut up and use as spacers to raise hooks I installed on a tractor bucket/loader. It is the full 1” thick. Good solid material. I have faith it will hold up in the industrial application for which I am using it, so expect to exceed any durability expectations as a cutting board. It is hard so would expect it to hold up to knife cuts. Good value in my mind

    really thick and sturdy but…
it is super thick and sturdy, but due to its weight, it’s not good at just picking up the whole thing and scooping everything I’ve chopped up and into the pot, which is what I like to do…only taking off 1 star for that reason alone.

I adore this cutting board. I have a wooden one the same size, buts it’s so heavy and the Plastic on is just so much easier to clean. I know that it’s probablt more sanitary to use wood for cutting proteins (unlike what alot of people think), but It’s so much easier on plastic!

Not sure if I just got one with a defect or if they all have this but I don’t like the way it looks on my countertop. I would imagine it will still function the same but this was a costly board to look like this. Hopefully Winco will make this right.
