Great Quality
These are very nice to handle. They open enough to easily grip food while cooking. They are heat resistant. Great value for the money. I ended up buying another one after seeing the quality.

These smaller ones are made with a lighter weight metal. They definitely donât feel as sturdy as the longer ones and they are very sharp, so be careful when you wash them, they cut both my husband and myself.

It looks around 18 gauge stainless steel. The handles have folded stainless steel making it very strong design. The surface area of the grip/jaws of the tongs that actually touch the food is not overly large but does a good job with gripping pieces of chicken, corn cobs or even pasta. Very few items on amazon should be rated as excellent but this is one of them. Tongs are used multiple times daily and its best to stock up on tools like this that are low cost yet quality construction. So ill buy around 5-6 9 inch tongs, 5 12 inch tongs for grilling.

I should have read the 1 star reviews. The picture in the item description has the Winco stamp at the base of the tongs. The ones shipped to me do not, and they are very flimsy. I returned them they day I received them.

Probably thanks to the reviews, I actually received the Winco brand ðð» very sturdy. The spring + locking ring is the ONLY style tong that should exist.

Awesome tongs!
I bought these for the hubby, as we do alot of grilling. These are heavy duty, made very well, clean very easy. The slider doesn’t get stuck as with most cheaper ones. So easy to use and kids can use them too.
