my other mixing bowl has sides that are more straight up and down, but this is they type I’ve been wanting with more slopping sides and a bigger over all size. I bought two due to the low price and will probably be buying another one or two. slightly thin but sturdy enough for my needs.

Very lightweight 8-quart stainless bowl. Since it’s advertised as “economy” I knew it would be thin, and that it is. It’s easy to bend or dent, so some care is required when handling. For an everyday more durable bowl, I think most would be happier with a heavier gauge steel. The one I received weighs 9.5 ounces. For comparison, my mid-weight Cuisinart 5-quart stainless steel bowl weighs 19.3 ounces. Overall, it’s just fine for the price, especially when lighter weight is an important consideration. 4.5 stars.

short On Quality
Bought the 8 Qt as it’s the perfect size for large food prep. Unfortunately, it’s short on quality because of the thinness. The base makes a tin-can noise when pressed down, like while in kneading dough. Although it looks new, it arrived with a slight dent on the rim and some nicks (shown in pic). Not sure what the 800 means on the base of the bowl. So, 1 star for the size, 2 stars for packaging as it arrived well boxed and 3 stars because it’s too cheap to return.

It’s a great mixing bowl, especially to make sourdough
I originally ordered this before realizing I already had two of the same size made of porcelain, so I ended up returning it. That said, it’s a great mixing bowl and the perfect size for making sourdough.
