First, I’d like to thank everyone who previously reviewed this meatloaf pan. I purchased it based on your recommendations. I thank you.Look and FeelThis pan is solid and extremely well made. It feels very substantial when you hold it in your hands. You won’t be concerned about bending or twisting the pan. The feel is extremely slick and quality. The non-stick coating (or whatever they coat this pan with) feels very clean and cling free. It feels like it would be tough to scratch the coating on this pan. I’m sure it can be done, but it feels very quality and sturdy.Cooking (how much does it hold?)One of the things I was curious about is “how much will it hold”. I made a 3 lb meatloaf and it filled the pan (level) to the top. 3lbs will be the limit (pre-cooked) of meat in this pan. My topping dripped over a bit and burned to the pan in a few areas, but was simple to clean up with a pre-rinse and sponging before the dishwasher. If you plan to put a topping on your meatloaf, you may wish to limit the size of your meatloaf to 2 – 2.5 lbs precooked weight. That should give you a half-inch or so at the top.RemovalThe meatloaf fell out of this pan. No sticking of any kind. The pan neatly held all the drippings in the bottom and kept them separate from the meatloaf in the primary section of the pan. I removed my meatloaf with a few large forks. It lifted out in a single piece. Your results may vary depending on your meatloaf, but again I didn’t experience any sticking from the meatloaf itself. Again, your results may vary.Other thoughtsThese pans fit together well and are simple to separate at room temperature. If the pan is too hot to touch with your bare fingers, you’ll have a difficult time separating them because it’s tough to get a grip with oven mitts or other heat protection between your hands and the pan. They don’t fit to tightly together mind you, its just not convenient to separate them while hot. You would likely need to slide something between the pans to get a finger under there to grab the handles. Don’t get the wrong impression here, they don’t stick together or fit to tightly together, it’s merely inconvenient to separate them when hot because you can’t use your fingers.SummaryI’m very pleased with this purchase. I used it once and will continue to use it going forward. Naturally if something changes I’ll update this review, but I can’t imagine anyone complaining about this purchase. It’s well made, quality, sturdy and easy to clean. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

What is better than the crispy edges of a meatloaf – for me, not much! In my regular loaf pans, the grease would keep that from happening, but in this pan it all stays below the meat and those edge are able to get nice and crispy!

Nice sturdy pan but has become discolored and the finish is coming off
This is a very sturdy pan set. It nicely allows the grease to drain off the meatloaf. The one problem I have with it is that the bottom pan has become discolored and the finish is coming off allowing it to rust in places. I purchased the pan two years ago and use it fairly regularly. It is relatively easy to clean, after a little soaking, but even the top pan is becoming discolored. As for the top pan being difficult to remove, I do not separate the pans while serving the meatloaf. After the pans have cooled and I’m ready to clean up, they easily separate. I also bought this set because of the Wilton brand but would not purchase it again.

Love This Pan
I love this pan as Iâve had it in the past and it lasted forever. Finally got another and itâs the same great quality youâd expect from Wilton but with the packaging used by Amazon Iâm shocked it didnât scratch or get damaged in transit. It was not put in a protective box but rather a bubble/padded white Amazon envelope. Strange that it would be used instead of a box. Unfortunately, Iâm finding this to be the case with most of their products and it is frustrating because I worry about certain items being processed and handled and getting to me without being broken, bent, etc.. but luckily it was fine. Great product! Hand wash only and do not use abrasive cleanser, rough sponges or put in the dishwasher. If you take care of it, itâll last.
