Great Cake Pan
I decorated cakes for 35 years and I know Wilton is a great product. These pans are perfect, evenly baked, clean up great and the cake comes out so clean. I use a paper-towel liner in the bottom of the pan(cake baking trick if cake is to come out of the pan) and wallah! Every cake comes out of the pan great! These will last me as long as I want an 8″ cake!

Best metal cake pan
Bought these at a recommendation from a friend. Glad I did! I spray the inside pan lightly before I bake in them. I do not use metal utensils in them, and hand-wash with soap and a dish cloth. They still look brand new. Have never had a problem with cake sticking when I flip it to remove it. Only oddity is most recipes call for a 8″ or 9″ pan. These are 8.5″. I love these pans!!

Made my first double-layer red velvet cake
Cake comes out clean, and cleaning is easier with a circle of parchment paper on the bottom. First cake was a double-layered red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Wow! Decadence is the only word to describe it. Photo taken after first use and easiest cleaning ever. Sorry, no cake photo ;(The order came quickly and in time for Christmas. I’ve been buying Wilton ever since I started baking and it has proved its usefulness, lasting quality, and value over time and again. These pans live up to that reputation. The only downside, I don’t eat much cake, so I only use them when lots of people are around to share it.

I got these for my granny. She said they cooked well and cleaned up good. Only thing, she did mention after the 1st use some of the finish on the bottom inside of the pan came off.

Perfect for 3 layer cake!
I have the Wilton 9 inch pans and love them too, but these are the perfect size for a 3 layer cake (the 9 inch makes the layer too thin). These cook evenly and are easy to wash up. Wilton lways makes a quality product. I highly recommend these pans.

I had great results with these. I am not sure what my other pans were made of, but these worked better. The cake baked evenly and came out easily. I used butter and parchment paper on the bottom. I am gonna see what other pans they have in this material!

I bought these cake pans for baking things like hamburgers, chicken breasts, etc., not for cakes. The ordinary non-stick coated cake pans I previously used for meat only work for a short time before the coating starts to come off and get into the food (even when I don’t use a scouring pad to clean them); and they are no good–and unsafe–to use when there is no longer any coating in them because they are made of tin that leaves an off taste when food is cooked in them. — I bought (uncoated) aluminum pans many years ago when they were still cheap, and have used them for baking cakes, bread, and cookies (as well as meat, even though I don’t like to use the same pans for both kinds of food) ever since, and never had a problem. Foods always bake evenly, and the pans are easy to clean and durable. Now I decided to try the new “anodized” aluminum pans even though they are expensive, because it is a waste of money to buy the non-stick ones. I hope to get lots of good long use out of them for baking meat.

It is good you know that it changes color as soon as you wash in dishwasher but cake comes out level and evenly baked. I love it.

These pans are 8 inches in diameter, made of aluminum. They are light colored. I bought them for making cake layers. Most other pans are 9 inches in diameter, and those are usually not what cake recipes call for. Actually I bought two sets of two pans each, because I needed to make three layers. The cake layers cook evenly and fast. Very useful!
