A modern toaster that doesn’t disappoint
Great two slice toaster. Option to toast bagels and thin bread. Aesthetically pleasing, with rounded edges, in flat black color and brushed silver trim. It has the expected basic variable settings, buttons and levers for simply making great toast. Overall it works but I found there’s a bit of a learning curve. This toaster tends to brown more on one side than the other. I discovered it tends to burn raison bread faster than normal bread so I had to dial it down accordingly. The various adjustable toast settings are part of getting familiar with it’s operation. Now that I’ve learned how to dial in the right settings for bagel, raison bread, thick or thin slices, I can count on it toasting to my desired results. It’s not perfect, but seems to be good enough overall. I think it’s proven to be reliable and is a good value overall. No complaints. In hindsight, I wished I did the initial factory burn off outside or in a well ventilated area. As the directions state, the smell that comes off this toaster when brand new is apparently from the burning off of factory oil residue that produces a lingering odor during initial break-in. Brand new, it should be cycled empty on highest setting at least a few times before initial use in a well ventilated space. Overall, I’m happy with this toaster. It has met my expectations while looking stylish in my kitchen next to my matching color coffee maker.

Excellent browing
With many products like a toaster, I try several brands and styles. Several didn’t brown my English muffins well enough on a lower setting, but this one did great!With styles that have 7 settings, I should not have to go to the max to get a browned muffin. This one does excellent on 6 (of 7), so much so that I’ve been shutting it off a touch before it pops.Nonetheless, this one fits the bill, and I recommend it. Oh, and BTW, they sent me the white version with gold even though it was supposed to be black (Warehouse Deal mistake), but I like it even better in this color arrangement.BTW: To answer a question one might have about outside hotness, the plastic part on the outside does not get hot.

After reading many reviews, I ordered this toaster as it seemed well made, reliable, and had a fingerprint resistant, matte finish. After delivery, I completing the recommended start up. It’s proving to be even better than expected – on all counts. Our favorite bread is longer, and those toast nicely and slices also fit perfectly! Highly recommend.
