WELL WORTH THE COST! Superior to Other Food Processors
I’d been using Cuisenart for 25 years, and finally retired it. I HATED the design of the Cuisenart bowl and locking mechanism! I went through several bowl assemblies because they kept breaking. So I had to spend more $$ as it wasn’t worth buying a whole new food processor.FINALLY someone designed a powerful food processor with parts that lock into place easily and seem much more stable! No more little pieces sticking out that can break easily, as is the case with the Cuisenart. Also, I always hated using the grater with the Cuisenart because it was very difficult lifting the blade off when the bowl was full of grated zucchini or whatever – it would just get stuck. How refreshing to use this new Warning machine with the continue chute feature! WOW!!! I can just keep feeding it and it just gobble it up and spits it out!I just processed a huge amount of zucchini which I needed grated for fermenting. What used to take 2 hours was done in a fraction of the time! I’m very pleased!Oh and did I mention how POWERFUL it is??? Yes it’s a BEHEMOTH!Yes it’s pricey but if you do a large volume of produce at a time, like I do for fermenting, it’s well worth it to invest in the proper equipment. My TIME is valuable and this machine is definitely a time-saver! (even over other food processors). Having the continue chute feature is like having an unlimited capacity bowl! It just never fills up so you can just keep going! I LOVE IT!Oh and I love the adjustable slicer; negates the need for additional blades. It looks classy too, very professional. My only complaint is that the assembly instructions aren’t very good. Some of the instructions didn’t have any accompanying pictures and I had No clue what some of the terms meant. They really need to improve their manual. I was able to figure it out, but I shouldn’t have had to. It should have been more clear. That’s a minor complaint though. I’m very happy with this machine!

Garbage machine, not commercial grade.
This is honestly a terrible product. It claims to be commercial grade, but it’s poorly made and pathetically weak. It overheats and stalls constantly, the lid connection point broke within weeks, and now the cheese shredder attachment has ripped itself apart. I use this in a commercial kitchen, and trust me it is complete garbage. Wish I had just returned it when I had the opportunity.

Well, I was lovin’ this food processor until…
…I removed the work bowl from the dishwasher last night and noticed a crack in the plastic that holds the locking pin and spring.I received the food processor on February 25th, a little over month ago. This unit was to replace my 9 cup Cuisinart, which I had had for over 3 years, and the bowl never cracked. In fact, the unit still works and has found a new home with my sister, but I digress.I am out of the 30 return window, so I cannot exchange the unit. I still love the unit and the performance is stellar. I just don’t understand why there’s a crack in the bowl. I’m guessing this is a fluke, as I haven’t read any other reviewers having the same issue. If a crack hadn’t developed, I would’ve gave this unit 5 stars. It is a workhorse and has handled everything I’ve put it in without so much as a whimper. It actually can finely chop veggies without turning them into mush. I much prefer “paddle” controls vs “button” controls. There is much more control when you’re using the pulse function.I love to cook and make the majority of our food from scratch (we’re vegans that eat eggs occasionally from my sister’s hens, which makes us not vegan, but I don’t know what the term for that is). On Sundays I will make one recipe after another and freeze them for the coming week. My food processor gets a workout weekly. For me a good food processor is a necessity. And this one really has so much power that it makes every task so easy. Things that used to make my Cuisinart choke, the Waring breezes through as though it’s cutting butter. So other than my issue with the cracked work bowl, I have no complaints about this machine. I will update the review if the company responds to my request for a bowl replacement.UPDATE: Received my new work bowl last week. Am more than pleased with the pleasant interaction I had on the phone with Waring and their prompt response in sending a replacement work bowl. I have been putting the machine through it paces again and have not had any issues. Am lovin’ this food processor again! And due to the great response I received from Waring’s Customer Service Department, I have changed the rating from from 4 stars to 5 stars.

A really well-built product
At this time I’ve used the Warn once. It is a very heavy-duty machine, extremely well-built, very quiet.I decided to buy this machine for my home kitchen because I was tired of buying lower-quality consumer-grade machines every couple of years. This thing could be an heirloom for consumer use, it is obviously designed for high-throughput commercial use. Should basically last forever in a home kitchen! It doesn’t have a lot of the features of machines that are oriented toward consumers, but most of those features are pointless anyway, just need an s-blade to chop cabbage and other veggies. The mixing bowl is advertised as “unbreakable” – after getting this thing into my hands I actually kind of believe them. That has been the first thing to go for the cheaper consumer-grade items I’ve bought way-too-many times in the past, mixing bowl on the Warn could probably be used to smash garlic by banging it against a cutting board a thousands times…Markets know that when most people buy these things, most people use them monthly, if even that frequently. But if you’re doing food prep on a weekly basis, you’ll actually be money ahead by buying this item versus a cheaper consumer-grade machine that is designed for infrequent usage.

I had 2,5quart before and gave it away. I wanted 3,5 quart for bigger family. This machine is a work horse and can handle a lot of abuse. It works at my house daily. One feature that needs to be a bit more worked on is the continuous feed. The feed doesnât have any ârampâ towards the bowl, there is a lot of mess between a bowl and machine. I would still buy this machine even with that little annoying part.
