Spices and utensils at your fingertips
When I opened the box and pulled out the pieces I was a little worried that it wouldn’t be very sturdy. The shelf is made of a thin stainless steel. Installing was a breeze. The hardest part was making sure the holes were level before drilling them out. It took maybe 5 minutes to install. I am very please with the shelf, it is very sturdy when on the wall. So far I’ve added my most used spices and my utensils. I love having the utensils hanging at easy reach. I’m sure I’ll be adding more to the shelf soon. I’m considering adding more hooks for more utensils.

Great kitchen organizer and looks nice
Easy assembly. The best thing is you can adjust the distance between the mounting holes so the screws can hit wooden wall studs on-center. It REALLY organized a wayward collection of pots, pans and ladles. This has saved a lot of storage space and everything is easy to reach.I’m a little bit cautious about loading it down with weight. The screws and anchors supplied would be good for bare cinderblock but might be just a little bit short for wood and drywall. Thinking about changing to longer wood screws. There was an earthquake here yesterday, near Sacramento, the pots and pans hanging from this rack were swaying but nothing fell down.

Defective Brackets
Bought a 24″ shelf which was easy to assemble (it does have the white plastic that people don’t like). Also bought 3 36″ shelves and 4 of the 6 brackets were defective – one slat wouldn’t fit in each of them. I saw another reviewer melted the plastic and then used a nail file on one bracket and it took her an hour – definitely not worth it. Am waiting to see if they can just send new brackets; otherwise will just return all 4 (need to match).

Defect in manufacturing
I love the look of the pot tack purchased as a house warming for my mom. What should have taken less than 5 minutes to build, actually took about an hour. 1 bracket would not easily engage in slot. I used a heated metal spatula to melt plastic and a nail file to grind enough of plastic to actually force this piece in. Not to mention how embarrassed I was in front of her to have to repair a new item.
