These placemats are not only beautiful but they are also super easy to clean and look great with my manufacture rock dinnerware!

Food Stains These Placemats
I would NOT recommend buying this product. Every single food item that lands on these placemats stains. Must use a product with bleach (I bought them in white), let it sit and then scrub like crazy. The textured surface is very difficult to clean. Maybe the black color doesnât do this, but avoid the white.

These placemats are thicker than most but they do slide around on the table and anything that touches them leaves a mark so I constantly have to wipe them off with a sponge and they are a bit smaller than other placemats I’ve had in the past. Overall they are a nice quality product.

Nice looking placemats but horrible quality
I love Villeroy and Boch manufacture rock series. I bought several dishes from this collection. I was happy to find the matching mats, they really look good. The problem with them is the horrible quality. It says on the instructions that stains should be removed with damp cloth only. So it never works! I used the mats only once. My husbandâs put his tea cup on the placemat. the stain from this cup couldnât be removed the next minute it appeared. Totally disappointing experience. I hope I did not buy a fake.

I ordered sets of two .One set had 4 pieces and one set only had 3 pieces.One piece is missing.

I bought these for my oval table because my round placemats didnât cover enough. I figured the oval shape would align a tad more than round or regular rectangular placemats. But these placemats are so tiny they are pretty useless. They are not as wide as a regular rectangular placemat, they are not as deep as my round placemats. I didnât try but Iâm fairly certain that if I used a charger plate all you would see is a scrap of pleather on each side, barely enough for the utensils. This is a definite return. Iâm giving it 2 stars for the quality of the material which is the only redeeming feature.
