This is the real thing! Itâs sturdy and peels potatoes better and faster than a knife! I was taught to peel potatoes with a paring knife and to peel as thin as possible as not to waste potatoes. Great product for the price.
I wanted a really reliable and super sharp vegetable and fruit peeler. I don’t have any use for the julienne side of the tool in my everyday work…but it’s a nice addition for the price and great 2 in 1 convenience. I was surprised at how light weight the peeler is. It feels great in my hands and is super easy to handle. I love how sharp it is. I do a TON of prep work in a professional kitchen breaking down melons and pineapple and other tough fruits and veggies. This tool has made my work ten times more efficient.

As soon as I used it as it’s primary fonction as a peeler and I fell in love as the peel was so thin that I did not lose a lot of the veggies when peeling them, and the peeling was not hard as the peeler glided with almost no effort, but be careful as it is so effortless that I almost nicked myself. I have not yet used it as its secondary fonction (doing slices) but I feel I will not have any problems. So really recommend it if like me your hands are starting to have arthritis and handling peelers was beginning to be harder to hold tightly.

Works well and do be careful it is very sharp. I love using this to jazz up my salads. I used to buy my carrots pre cut Julienne but they seemed so woody or tasteless. I now make my own and wow what a difference it tastes amazing. I now add all kinds of veggies like parsnips, beats etc. It is easy to use, looks great and most importantly it makes my salads so much better. I highly recommend it.
