Good rack, assembly takes time
This is a great spice rack, but assembly can be a bit trying. Here I share some tips and tricks to make assembly easier.First off, I love to cook. Asian, Mexican and Tex-Mex, “American,” African, and some German. I keep about 50 spices around, changing them out for fresh every six months. An easy to use spice rack that does a good job holding jars in place, keeping labels visible (I alphabetize), and good enough looking to go in my kitchen is an essential. I bought two of these. They fit the 4 oz square spice jars I bought very well. They meet all my criteria. However, it is a bit of trial and error to figure out how to most easily assemble the racks. I am sharing with you what I figured out.In the first picture, you can see all the parts. Two side walls that go vertical, and five cross shelves with nice lips to hold spice jars in place. Assembly is logically simple. Attach the 5 racks to one wall using two nuts and bolts on each. Repeat the process with the other wall.However, as you can see, the nuts and bolts are tiny. The use of appropriate tools makes assembly much easier. In the second picture you can see the powered screwdriver and ratcheting socket wrench and bit that I used. The bolts go in horizontally. There are two holes on each side of the shelf, and two corresponding holes on each wall. The challenge is to manipulate the quite small nuts and bolts inside the shelf. Think of the shelf as an open box, which it is. I had to put the screws through the side wall and into the shelf, then screw on the nut, with my fingers inside the box. First try, I dropped the nut four times before I got it to thread on the screw. Don’t worry, there is at least one extra nut and bolt to compensate for lost parts. One package had one extra, the other had four. The nuts and bolts are of reasonable quality and thread easily once aligned.To make this a little easier, I put the bolts shaft up on the counter, set the wall and shelf on top of it, then attached the nut while holding the wall and shelf in place. That is, I used the countertop as a third hand. The bolt didn’t back out or fall out because it was held by the counter top. You can see the start of this procedure in the third and fourth pictures.I assembled using just my fingers first, then used the tools to tighten the 20 nuts and bolts. The tools made tightening possible. I think if I left the nuts and bolts just finger tight, the rack would eventually come apart. In the last picture, you can see the assembled rack.Given how this is designed, it is going to be a bit of a challenge to assemble no matter what. I’d at least like to see the nuts and bolts updated to a clear plastic for this spice rack. It’d make the whole rack nearly invisible, which would be an interesting effect.

The Best Spice Rack
This is probably the best Spice Rack I’ve ever bought, perfect in every aspect. The size ratio vs amount of jars it can hold. Great item, light weight no fuss, simple 5 min. assembly. Worth all the money, less clutter in the kitchen or pantry.

Works for Lenox Spice House set, but is uneven at the bottom allowing for a wobble.
The first photo is the clear protective film I couldn’t get off. I had to use an exacto knife at the corner to lift it.Assembly was easy, but there is a slight wobble. I placed some folded nonskid material at the corner to help with that issue.The main reason I bought this set is because it fits the Lenox spice house set. I have 3 of the 4 sets on there, but you can see there is enough room for 5 houses per row and there are 5 rows. There are 24 houses in the set.Otherwise this is a nice spice rack that is easily customizeable. The assembly is easy. The hardest part was getting the protective film off. The uneven bottom was easy to remedy, but it does take away from the overall appearance having to use something to level it out at the bottom.

Just what we needed
Some people said it wasn’t stable we must have got a good one because it is plenty sturdy. Has great space saving ability we have more than 40 slendor spices in our case. We love it!!

Perfect
I was looking for an attractive shelf to display some cute ceramic spice containers I have, and this is perfect. It’s as described and looks nice on display. It does require assembly, but is easy to put together. The plastic sides will look “foggy” out of the box due to the protective sheet on them. Once you peel that off, they look perfectly clear as pictured.

Product dimensions have changed since 2021
This is a nice acrylic/wood stand. It looks elegant and if assembled carefully, in our experience it will serve its purpose as a spice rack and/or stand for other similarly sized items. BUT, I’m knocking off a couple of stars because I bought it in 2021, and was completely happy with it, and now I wanted to repurchase the identical stand to sit next to the original. Unfortunately, the dimensions have changed. It is now 9.5″ deep (front to back) rather than the 8.5″ deep (front to back) that it was in 2021. There are other changes too–the acrylic side walls are thicker now than they used to be. The wood shelves are about 2.5″ deep, rather than the 2.1″ deep they used to be.To be fair, the product listing does give the new dimensions, and I *could* have double checked them before ordering. But when repurchasing something previously purchased, it’s assumed the product is the same as before. And also, the photos of the product haven’t changed. The photo showing the dimensions is updated with the new dimensions, but the other photos still show the old design.The actual product as received looks like my attached photo once assembled. The angle of the acrylic is shallower (because it is 1″ deeper), and it comes to a smaller front edge than the product photo in the product listing, which is a stubbier and taller front edge of the acrylic side wall, and matches what I previously purchased under this product listing.SO, check the dimensions to see if it’s what you want. If the dimensions match your desires, I highly recommend this product. But as for me, I’ll have to return it, because I wanted the dimensions from what was previously sold to me in 2021, and what the original product photos still show. I found another Amazon seller who supposedly has the other design under a different brand name… so hopefully that will work out.

Wobbles
To start, there were no instructions or even a picture of what the assembled item should look like. I looked up the image on Amazon and assembled it easily. There were pre drilled holes and I only had to put the screws in. Once assembled, I noticed it doesnât lay flat and wobblesð¤¨. I had to put something under it so it didnât do this. Good thing itâs just going in a cupboard, because I donât feel like going to the effort to return it
