Cuts very well and is nice and sharp
I occasionally make myself a sauté dinner consisting of raw meat, raw vegetables, and raw garlic. I was due for a new knife and decided to buy this one after seeing good reviews and the price being a value. I’ve been very impressed with how well this knife cuts and chops. Without having to use much pressure with my hands, I’m able to easily slice and chop raw garlic, slice raw meats, and slice raw vegetables. 2 raw meats I’ve used it for so far are boneless pork loin and raw wild caught calamari. 3 vegetables I’ve used it for so far are broccoli, cauliflower, and zucchini. It does an excellent job slicing raw zucchini.

I was looking for a large knife with a reasonable price to facilitate my cutting work while cooking.I used it now several times and I am very satisfied: it is really sharp, has a very agreeable weight & has a good grip. A very detailed care instructions are included with the knife (see picture), which will help to enjoy it for a long time. Conclusion: very good knife for a very good price.

Almost TOO Sharp!
This is an excellent knife, especially at this price. It’s got real weight to it and is extremely sharp â much sharper than my previous kitchen knife. In fact, be careful! I was cutting an avocado and the knife slipped, just grazing the tip of my finger slightly. The wound was pretty impressive. (Obviously, this was my own fault, not the knife’s.) Overall, I highly recommend it.

Basic entry level beginners chef knife. I bought it for the cooks I work with, they love it compared to the Nella knives we have at our restaurant. It comes very sharp “out of the box” and they could not be happier. Sturdy and has a good quality heft feel to it. Not as light as I would it to be but for $10, I can’t complain.As to the rust and tarnish people are experiencing, please read the manual that comes with it, you are expected to read and understand the product you are purchasing. In addition, don’t expect this knife to hold its edge, buy a steel and hone it after several uses. It’s only $10, if you’re expecting higher quality cough up more than $100.

I bought this knife really long ago and leave it up-opened. After such a long while and then I needed a new knife these days, I unpacked and used it, still as sharp as brand new (but yes, it is surely brand new as I never use it), and sharp. It can easily cut my food and requires little force to handle. It performs better than some larger knifes I bought in the supermarket.That is pretty amazing! Highly recommended.

I like it, its not that sharp but if you’re used to dull knives like me then it’s pretty good! I got it so I can learn to sharpen a knife with a whetstone, since it’s not super strong metal it’s great cause I sharpen regularly and see how I’ve improved :)Very good for its price would recommend for someone just starting to cook or sharpen so they can get used to doing their thing without fear of ruining a super expensive knife.
