Even though it is plastic it expands and retracts fairly easily. When adjusting the top to expand up it was a little tough but I was able to handle and get it adjusted as I needed. The look is great with the dark black plastic. While it is plastic itâs a fairly thick enough to ensure longevity. Itâs easy to clean with dish soap and or vinegar water mix spray like I used. The storage capacity is huge and if one has big/large/wide/deep drawers this would be EVEN BETTER SPACE ORGANIZING! Great value for the money and the functionality is great with the various options of sizes in spaces and the little dividers provided.

Decent, but not the best
The Utensil Drawer Organizer has some good features, like the expandable design, which is great for customizing to fit your drawer size. However, it just doesnât hold everything I need it to. Even with the extra space, I find myself struggling to fit all my utensils, especially larger spatulas and tools. The removable knife blocks are a nice idea, but they take up a lot of space that could be better used for other items. While itâs not a bad product, it just doesnât meet my storage needs as well as I had hoped.

Drawer Transformer
I have a small drawer next to my stove that holds extra cooking utensils like spatulas, wooden spoons, can openers, whisks, and the likeâbasically all the essentials. Before I found this organizer, the drawer was a complete disaster. I know the ‘after’ photo still doesn’t look perfectly organized, but I wish I had taken a ‘before’ photo, because there truly is no comparison. It used to feel like a game of Tetris every time I needed something, with all the utensils tangled up together often necessitating pulling out multiple items just to grab one, and closing the drawer was like defeating a boss-level challenge. Not anymore. Now I have layered the less-used items on the bottom, and the frequently used items on the top, and I know exactly where everything is so there’s no digging around looking for things.This organizer turned out to be exactly what I needed. It fit perfectly in my 13″ wide drawer (see photo with tape measure)âif it were even slightly larger, I highly doubt it would have worked. The adjustable design is a fantastic feature, as it can expand to fit larger drawers and offer additional storage compartments for those that have the space.One minor downside is that the edges and dividers are on the thicker side, which slightly reduces the usable storage space. However, I actually see this as a benefit because it makes the organizer feel sturdier and likely more durable over time.Overall, this product has completely transformed the way I use this drawer, which I use almost daily. It’s made cooking prep more efficient and eliminated the frustration of a cluttered space. I couldnât be happier with the improvement!

Way Better than Without
I am lucky enough to have some large, full extension kitchen drawers. They are great. However I hated having to dig through them to find what I was looking for. This solved the problem perfectly. I was able to expand it fully and have it fit the drawer area needed easily. It comes with the little grippy circles to put in the corners to grip and help it from moving around, but it fit so well that I didnât really need them. It also came with some little dividers, for if you have some smaller items that you want it to hold, but I didnât need them either. (I have held onto them just in case I end up needing them later.) The organizer just slides to fit the space, nothing snaps to hold it into the size you want, which isnât a big deal for me since it fills the entire space and I wonât be messing with it – but it is something to be aware of.
