Good quality utensils set.
I love the look and feel of this 8 piece Non-Stick Silicone Kitchen Utensils Set. This set comes with a variety of utensils that I use on a daily basis. I order and returned another set that came with way more utensil and gadgetsBut I realized I didn’t need all of that clutter. This set contains the basic utensils that you will reach for day in and day out .This set is excellent quality. The utensils feel solid in hand. The handles are made of a beautiful acadia wood and the heads are made of silicone which is heat resistant and soft enough to use on my non-stick pots and pans. The wood is smooth and the silicone portion is not flimsy.I have had other utensils handles separate from the head…not these. These utensils are very sturdy. I hand wash this utensils and they come clean very easily. They do not stain.There is some slight variations in the wood tones between some of the utilities but nothing to drastic. I paired these utensils with an all wood acadia set and it blends in nicely.

While the box indicates these are dishwasher safe, the item description clearly indicates they should not be washed in the dishwasher or with sharp cleaning brushes if you want to maintain the finish on the handles. This is typical for all wood items as wood+water+harsh detergents don’t mix well. My biggest concern will be my husband remembering they don’t go in the dishwasher.This is a beautiful set – the handles aren’t 100% the same shade, but I like that part about them as well. The silicone is smooth and flexible, yet sturdy. Good size, well balanced handles. They look nice on display and work well for their intended purposes. I got the set for $18 and change, which was a great deal. At full price they are still less than $3 ea – you can’t get the cheap, flimsy ones for that price. Would highly recommend. Would recommend fixing the dishwasher safe mention on the box and would love to see some bright color options.

After hearing the gloomy news about black plastics being terrible for kitchen use, I figured it was time for out with the old, in with the new! These utensils are not only aesthetically pleasing, they’re so functional, too! The handles are so sturdy and are a breeze to use and clean. If you have these in your cart, just buy these already!

These work well enough and look nice but donât feel very sturdy. The handle also seems short. The handle is very light so they tip out of spots because the utensil end is so heavy compared to the handle. They still work and Iâll use them until theyâre not good anymore. The silicone cleans well and doesnât seem to stain even though the color is basically white.

These silicone utensils are not only way better looking than the black plastic ones I discarded, they are a delight to use. For example the oval spoon has a straight soft tip that makes it easy to scoop up a sauce from a non-stick pan. Who knew? I’d forgotten how nice a soft whisk feels. The pasta tool is much more efficient than my old wooden one. I am so happy I bought them.

Maybe fix the glue used to keep the parts together
They look nice and the quality of silicone is great itâs exactly what I was looking for, Iâve had them for over a year but the only thing no one is mentioning is that they get stained by the liquids you cook with so they all end up different tones. They start to fall apart so so you need to push the silicone parts back in to the wooden part continue to use the tools. The whisk was the first to go they keep seasoning* between the gaps so you do need to start scrubbing that part as well. Iâm finally replacing mine I think itâs time I would suggest either getting solid wood or solid silicone pieces

DANGEROUS! I used the pasta utensil to stir pasta and the black âsiliconeâ melted. The pasta and pasta water tasted strongly of plastic and had black bits floating around in it. You can see from the kitchen paper when I wiped the utensil the plastic came off.

And easy to wash even after using them in a red pasta or curry paste.I would recommend boiling them every month or so just so the wood gets cleaned properly. But so far so good!
