This is smaller, quieter, and better built than the “other” popular brand sold. It works very well, has a strong magnet, and seems built to last. I have had it for several months, use it a lot, and haven’t had to charge it yet. after going through 3 of the other popular brand, in 1 year, I had enough. I love this can opener. I was having a hard time finding a manual can opener that worked well and I decided to try this instead. I absolutely love it! No more cutting myself on the lid or having to re-cut parts that were missed on the first time around then struggling to get the lid off. It even works on cans with the pull tab opening which don’t always seem to work either. The magnet that lifts the lid off the can doesn’t always work, but there is a lifting hook you can use instead. However, most times I can just lift the lid off manually with no problem. I have been using it in my kitchen for over a month and haven’t had to recharge it yet.

Love this so much. Like the size as it fits easily in a drawer. Fairly easy to use, though sometimes it does not grip on first try, but always on second try. It does move a little slow, but can be left unattended. I just do other prep while it opens the can. Battery life has been great. Well made and great kitchen gadget.

Previous to getting this I tried one of the less expensive versions of the same idea. That one would not shut off so I had to return it.
This one does everything well. With one push of the button cuts open can with smooth edge that to lid can be reused to close off the can. Stops when done. It has a retractable little edge grabber to grip and lift the top once it’s cut. It comes with a wall mount so it’s not buried in a drawer but keeps my counter less cluttered. Rechargeable.

This thing works great though at first I thought it wasnât working at all. The cut was so clean I didnât initially see it. Actually I didnât at all, my wife saw the cut. The vacuum in the can, however, kept the lid tightly in place. No fault of the opener. We love this thing already. Weâre in our 70s and some of these tabs pull too hard. No longer an issue. Just as important is the lid comes off without sharp edges.
