I have a few spatulas and always go to one particular. But often it isnât big enough or sturdy enough to handle what Iâm preparing. These are great. Sturdy and can handle the heat and do not bend when in hot liquid. I hand wash them and dry them, but they do a great job and held their original color.

I did not expect to be overly enthusiastic about this purchase. What could be more utilitarian than a set of various shaped spatulas? But even my husband LOVES these.The spoon-ulas in particular are excellent. We cook at least two meals most days, and these take care of everything from scrambled eggs in a ceramic lined pan, to simmering tomato sauce, to turmeric-laden curry, to piping hot stirfry in our carbon steel wok. We have an electric stovetop and the occasional left-something-on-a-hot-burner mishap doesnât phase these utensils. (Weâve melted or burned the wood handles of others in the past.) No discoloration whatsoever, cleaning is a breeze. Theyâre flexible where they need to be, but I never feel like theyâre going to give way or flop under the weight of what Iâm scooping or stirring. I love that theyâre one single piece with no cracks to collect food residue/moisture. Oh, and the mini one and the jar scraper! Those hardly ever make it into a utensil drawer, they are so ridiculously useful.I usually try to avoid products made in certain places if I can help it, but these are definitely great quality and I expect to have them for a very long time.

If you canât splurge for Tovolo, this is the way to go.
Really nothing to complain about but there is a brand that has even more sturdy silicone scrapers with metal handles that are more convenient to store in utensil holders. But they are more expensive.I compared these with two bargain brands. I couldnât understand how they can look so similar but are so far apart in price. Now I know. This one was superior in feel and sturdiness and also states safe for food and high temperatures. Blue is really nice.
