Good sturdy pie pan
After reading several reviews, I was concerned about the sturdiness/weight of the pans but decided to order them anyway based on the price. I received two pans and both are very sturdy and significantly thicker/heavier than the disposable pans available at the grocery store. I would not describe them as flimsy. The interior measures 8.5″ in diameter and 1 1/8″ in depth. I did not have any issues with the labels sticking. I hand washed them and they cleaned up nicely.

Worth the Money!
Very plain, light weight pie plates which worked as well as heavy duty plates. I am pleased with the quality and cost.

Not heavy duty
These are nice pans. But they are not what I would consider Heavy duty. Medium duty at best. But they do seem to work well and they clean well. However, if you’re looking for heavy duty, as in you bake a lot, These may not be the ones for you. Because I make pies and tarts on occasion, they will suit my needs hopefully. Also, be Leary of cutting a pie inside of the pie pan. I used a very dull pie cutter to cut through a relatively easy to cut pie and it left a mark.

Not “heavy weight” and not even made of steel
I should have read the reviews before ordering. From the favorable reviews and photos it seems like someone mixed a bunch of cheap aluminum pans with some good quality coated steel pans. Sadly, I received the cheap ones. I put a magnet on them … not steel. “Heavy”? I have one steel pie pan with exactly the same dimensions. It weighs 8.5 oz. These pans weigh 1.5 oz each. Out of curiosity I weighed some empty 12 ounce soda and beer cans. They weigh 0.5 ounces each. These pans each have as much aluminum as 3 cans. The photo of the pans was taken fresh out of the box (actually they came in a plastic bag with no label identifying the maker, just a bar code). Note the small dents where the edges almost touch. They couldn’t even survive delivery without taking some damage. And does it look like they have a non-stick coating?

Great price for the two pans
Great pie pans. They are great when you use the ready made pie crusts, as the crusts fit perfectly.
