I wanted to replace my plastic kettle with a stainless, I choose this one. I have used it on 3 week long business trips now. what I have found is the coffee temp setting at 194 degrees under extracts my coffee. I prefer 205 degrees for pour over temp. So I use the 212 setting (boiling) and allow it to cool to 205 for about 3-4 minutes with the lid off. Then I put the lid back on and the spout works great for my single pour over coffee bags. Very happy with this purchase! I hope it lasts as it was a bit pricey at $35. The max water is 12 ounces which is perfect for my needs.

I bought this to heat milk while traveling. It worked well the first time I used it, but it leaves burned milk on the bottom that is impossible to clean. When I tried using it again, the burned milk comes off into the milk. I tried cleaning it with a brush and also boiling it with water and nothing took it off.
