Perfect as a butter warmer!
I got this to use as a butter warmer. It serves that purpose perfectly. I have been able to melt a full stick with some room to spare. I think this would easily handle up to a stick and a half at one time. This pot would be great for multiple other purposes though, including toasting spices, making chili oil, or heating up very small quantities of anything. And it is made with the great Tramontina tri ply clad quality that I know and love.

Exact copy, works great, no more burnt spices
I wish Tarmontia had improved the handle shape; instead, they chose to create an exact copy of the traditional pan.However, the pan is slightly wider than the traditional version, and its tri-ply construction helps prevent the oil from getting excessively hot.This means no more burnt spices.

I have used hard anodized seasoning pan before from a reputable brand brand for 10 years. Now itâs time for a SS seasoning pan. I like the deep curve, means a teaspoon of oil is enough to fry the mustard and dals. Itâs sturdy and dishwasher safe.

Good quality, but too small
Itâs well built, but itâs just too small for my needs. If you plan to use it for a two serving dal with tadka, it will probably be great. For a 6 serving pot, itâs not big enough. Also, it took a long time for this to ship.
