Perfect!
This is an absolute gem in the kitchen! The tri-ply construction provides excellent heat distribution, ensuring even cooking without any hot spots. Whether Iâm making sauces, soups, or even reheating leftovers, this pan delivers consistent results every time. The stainless steel finish is not only beautiful but also incredibly durable. Itâs easy to clean and has stayed shiny even after multiple uses. The lid fits perfectly, trapping heat and moisture for efficient cooking. I also appreciate the comfortable, stay-cool handle that makes it easy to maneuver, even when the pan is full.Whatâs most impressive is how this saucepan compares to much more expensive brands. It performs just as well but at a fraction of the cost, making it an excellent value. If youâre looking for high-quality cookware that will last, this Tramontina saucepan is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

What did I ever do without this?
I have struggled with soupy pasta dishes and sautés sloshing out of traditional shallow frying pans for years. I finally decided to upgrade all of my aging cookware and turns out there are all sorts of fun shapes and sizes out there! This 3-qt braiser/rondeau is my favorite. You can fry in it, make stews and pasta dishes in it, cook meat and casseroles, you name it. Basically, if all you ever had was ONE thing to cook in, this might be it. It is not non-stick, but as long as you preheat it until it is good and hot, and use a layer of oil in the bottom, it cleans up easily, like new. This is a good company, a solid pan, a good buy in my opinion. And it should last for YEARS.

Excellent Quality Stainless Steel Saute Pan
I’ve had this Tramontina stainless steel deep saute pan for several months now and I absolutely love it. The quality of this pan is excellent – it has a nice heft to it and feels very sturdy and well-made. The tri-ply construction with an aluminum core means it heats evenly without any hot spots. The 5qt capacity is perfect for sauteing vegetables, searing proteins, making pan sauces and more. The straight sides give you plenty of room for larger portions. The pan also comes with a tight-fitting stainless steel lid to lock in moisture and flavors. One of my favorite features is that this saute pan is induction ready. It works great on my induction cooktop and gets screaming hot very quickly. The stainless steel construction makes it oven safe as well, so I can start something on the stovetop and finish in the oven. The ergonomic riveted handle provides a comfortable, secure grip even when the pan is fully loaded. It gets hot, as all metal handles do, but that’s to be expected with stainless cookware. I just use a potholder.Cleaning is easy – I’ve had no issues with food sticking or staining this polished stainless steel interior. Just avoid abrasive scouring pads and this will remain looking shiny and new. It’s also dishwasher safe, though hand washing gently preserves the finish best.Overall, I’m extremely happy with this professional-quality saute pan from Tramontina. It has quickly become one of my go-to everyday pieces for cooking a variety of meals. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a durable, high-performance stainless steel pan that will last for years.

Love, Love LOVE- why have I been using crappy cookware for decades?
I love these. No joke – I’m wondering why I’ve ‘suffered’ for so long with anything but triple-ply, all clad cookware? Heavy duty, excellent quality, lifetime warranty, easy clean up, and even heat distribution all at a VERY REASONABLE PRICE! What’s a cook not to like? From Amazon, I’ve only purchased this dutch oven style stockpot, but from a local “Mom & Pop” high-end cookware kitchen store, I’ve purchased 2 sauce pots, and 3 frying pans with lids all in the past 2 months. Wow- what a difference from the old Revere Ware (thin steel with copper bottoms) that was my parents set – the one I’ve been using for over 30 years. These tri-ply, fully clad cookware pieces from Tramontina are a JOY to use! They heat up QUICKLY and the construction is highly conducive to very EVEN heating of the entire pan/pot. I had to get used to that, hence I almost burned a few things! This cookware gets very hot, more so than I had ever noticed with my old wares. This construction makes for the quicker cooking of foods by way of even heat distribution, and I feel that you can achieve better cooking techniques and a higher quality of the dishes you prepare because of it. I was nervous that the stainless steel would be difficult to clean, but no… I’m amazed at how well these clean up if you soak them for a bit. Steel wool soap pads and some polishing agents (like Barkeeper’s Friend, for instance), will do the trick if you’re dealing with the removal of some stubborn, lingering charred food.

So sturdy!
I am in love with this brand! Very sturdy and thick, great quality, food cooks evenly with no sticking, washes well too. I think the price is definitely worth the quality of a good cookware. They look great too!

Heavy weight, well made
Let me begin by saying it actually holds 3 quarts. That may sound strange since it says 3 quarts but others I tried did not. It is well made, sturdy, on the heavier side and works on induction cook tops. It cleans easily and looks good after several cooking sessions. It has been used for hot, quick recipes and longer low temp slower cooking recipes without any issues. I recommend this saucepan without reservations of any kind.

Just got the pan yesterday and used it last night. Itâs an excellent pan and very well built. High quality steel. Also, made in Brazil. I believe the company has moved away from China and now makes them in Brazil.I am very satisfied. They should offer another version with a lid. Would pay $20 more for lid if available.
