Awesome pot
Very nice capacity. For the price it is plenty sturdy. Great addition to the heavy cast-iron enamel Dutch oven to allow for bigger recipes. Cleans up OK, too.

I love this pot
I had a large dutch over from All-Clad that I loved and used endlessly for about 5 years. It was coated with the typical black non-stick coating which, unfortunately; started to peel off. It needed replaced and this is what I chose. So wish I had gotten this one in the first place. I love this pot. It’s much bigger than my gas burner but it heats evenly and is just a great pot. I love it. I use it mostly to make a huge pot of soup which has become a weekly thing to do since I got it. My family has taken to getting a bowl of soup whenever they’re hungry. Tremendous reduction in the frozen pizzas and pot pies. This pot assists me in making wonderful soups that are much healthier and I believe saves me some money. If you need a really large pot I highly recommend this one.

I have bigger and smaller pots, but this one is the right size.
The handles will allow you to carry this pot from the sink to the stovetop with sure grips. The extra (1/4) thick bottom facilitates even heat distribution while preventing burning. The indide diameter at the top is (11 and 7/8 inches). It is (5 and 1/4 inch deep inside), (5 and 1/2 tall outside)The cover is not very impressive but fits easily. However I had another “12 inch” cover shapped like a dome that fits perfectly as well and allows extra space on top for cooking something that is slightly taller than 5&1/2 inches. This pot is the right size because I do not cook frequently, but when I cook , I cook for a few days. Since this cooking pot (dutch oven) is not too heavy, the cleaning is easy.Note: I bought this item at a discount from Amazon. When it arrived I noticed a little brownish discoloration at the bottom. I concluded that was the reason for the discounted price. Then each time I washed and dried it, I wiped the interior bottom with a thin layer of oil, before putting it back in storage. It looks as good today (5/31/2022) as the day its arrived. This dutch oven found a place in my kitchen and delivered stability to my diet, by having the capacity to cook large amounts of food. I no longer feel jealous when looking at comparable pots that cost an extra $100. I paid $40 tax included in July 2021. I got my money worth and am very happy with the purchase.

The best cookware and best value -an almost perfect buy.
UPDATE: I have used this cookware for several months now, and find myself even more satisfied with their performance, ease of maintenance and value. BARKEEPER’S FRIEND is a true must, as some heat bluing may occur, but for those who prefer easy maintenance above all else, these may not be the best choice. The key to keeping these looking as-new is in the regular and complete cleaning and avoiding overheating of them. It takes maybe 5 extra minutes to properly clean 2 pieces of this cookware, but one is rewarded with an effective, efficient, attractive and s-a-f-e cookware set. My set looks almost brand new, despite the (careful) use of both metal and nylon/wooden utensils. I would suggest these even as a lasting and beautiful gift! These are excellent pots for chilli and casseroles, that, despite not being triple ply, manage to heat evenly, clean up fairly easily and look good in the process.I have found no real problems with these pots ( I also bought the smaller version) and they are a must have for cooking for large groups. The base is a solid base that does not deform when heated, and does not present a hazard by spinning about on a glass cooktop. My only major change would be to give the interior a higher polish, but so far, cleanup has been a breeze, occasionally aided with Barkeepers Friend, and that is why these get only 4 stars.I recommend not using any coarse abrasives such as steel wool or nylon scouring pads.I think anyone would be pleased in using this cookware and can expect a long life of the pots – you will not be disappointed.

Great dutch oven!
I did a lot of research before deciding on this dutch oven. I wanted something dishwasher safe, sturdy, budget friendly, large, and hopefully a pot that wouldn’t show warp/scorch or other wear and tear with normal use. All the cookware we own are stainless steel from different brands. I assume due to user error they all currently hold those black/burn marks on the bottom. Not this one though. I used washed this in the dishwasher prior to first use and then used it on our gas stove to make a meal a few days ago. I was careful about not using anything higher than medium heat, the food was bubbling at medium since this gets so hot! This dutch oven held the food in the refrigerator for a few days and then went through the dishwasher again. It still looks brand new. I am so ecstatic! This is almost everything I wanted from my dutch oven. The only caveat is I’m not certain it is oven-safe. I looked at the manufacturer information and didn’t see that it was or was not (I could have missed it). That would make this truly perfect, but I am very, very happy with it regardless. If there are more in this line other than the current stockpot, I will be sure to purchase in the future.

PERFECT STOCK POT
I have a full set of Tramontana stainless steel cook wear and this stock pot added to the versatility to the set. This pot is the BOMB! Quality all the way. It holds 4 qts. more than a standard Dutch oven and is great for those huge batches of chili or veggie soup in the winter months. I am able the brown up the meat in it as well as pop it in the oven. It is dishwasher safe, but I prefer to hand wash.

Perfect size pot for my type of cooking
I like this pot. it is very versatile for my style of cooking. Perfect pot and investment.
Robert Gagnon –
This format is a lot more versatile than most stock pots, which are too narrow/tall.Being wider, it is easier to see and stir the food you are cooking. Furthermore, if you have an induction stove with a wide burner, this unit will bring water to a boil in record time – twice as fast as our old stock pot.Quality seems excellent and it still fits in our dishwasher, despite its large capacity.Love it!

It is easy to clean and now I am looking for same quality and bigger pieces

Iâve used this pot a few times and the quality seems good. I appreciate its size and how well it works on my induction stove.

I loved the idea of this dutch oven. The polished finish looks fabulous. The handles are large enough to take oven mitts with ease. The lid fits perfectly. There are no burrs anywhere. No rust or any problem that I could see. Well… maybe 3 miniscule black holes on the interior finish, on the bottom. For a moment I thought of sending it back. But I absolutely loved it. So I kept it, and watched to see if the holes would increase in size. They didnt. This morning, march 30 of ’22, I noticed more holes opposite side of my pot! I am not happy. The warranty expired nov of ’21. If you purchase this item and find holes, send it back. Or get the 2 yr warranty. I should have listened to my son about the warranty. Good luck.
