Great Pans – Pleasure to use
$45 bucks?I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect for a set of nonstick pans for under $50 – and this brand name is completely new to me. Reviews from others seemed to indicate these were decent so I went ahead and ordered them. Boy, these turned out to be a GREAT set of pans! The non-stick is truly functional – with a gentle nudge, eggs and rice or meat and breads just slide off these. We’ve been having fun using them, and they work as advertised in the oven… slip the silicone handles off and they’ll take up to 400ºF to finish off steaks or for baking, with ease.Heating is even, they work well on either the gas range or glass-top oven we have. Someone had mentioned they thought the handles were too heavy and made the pans “tippy” on gas grills? I have not seen that, but the metal grills on our oven are pretty big, so maybe it depends on model of stove. The handles do seem very sturdy with a 3-rivet attachment, and have experienced no flex or cheap-feeling to them. They seem like they would hold up over time.Washing is very easy, they clean up nice – although you’ll need a plastic scrubber for the stainless bottoms of these pans to keep them looking at their best. We’re not planning to pass these along as heirloom items to our kids someday, so we don’t drive ourselves nuts over it either.Using wood or silicone utensils to cook with in these pans, I’d expect to get many years of use out of them and I’m happy we bought them!On a side note:Tramontina USA explains that the pans with the non-stick coating are manufactured in the USA, while the handles (and possibly attachment hardware?) come from areas outside of the U.S. – a large part of their manufacturing is done in Manitowoc, WI since 2005 – so possibly this is where people are getting confused about the cookware origin or are upset about the product not saying “Made in the U.S.A.” on it?I just thought it was interesting for the 5 minutes it took me to Google “Where is Tramontina Made?”These pans could be manufactured by Chinese Reindeer working out of a rickety shed in the North Pole for all I care – they work, seem like an excellent buy for the price, and glad we bought them.

    Very good pans
You are not going to find pans like this for the price anywhere. Been using ours almost every day for 3 years and still like new.

    This’ll be your huckleberry!
Forget the whining about whetherIt’s made in America or not. Brazil is where they made. Excellent pans for a great deal. I’ve had a tramontina pasta pot for 20 years and it’s built to be an heirloom. The sauté pans are no different in quality and performance. Very comfortable in hand, very well coated, heats evenly and sits flat. The handle is definitely more thought out than the crappy “ergonomic” handles on other GLAM BRANDS. For a straight up nonstick pan here’s your huckleberry.

    NOT Made in USA!
Was particularly excited for this to arrive for Christmas only to find out one of the advertised attributes was false. Very disappointing. 3 stars without even trying.

Do not buy; poor quality; manufacturer does not honor warranty
I purchased these pans in January 2021. I used the large pan about 5-7x a week to make breakfast and dinner. As an amateur enthusiast in the kitchen, I’m way protective about making sure non-stick cookware lasts as long as possible. Consequently, I only used silicone utensils and washed the pans using a non-abrasive soft sponge. After 13 months, the large pan basically lost all of its non-stick layer in the middle of the pan. In comparison, the smaller pan which I used maybe 1-2 times a month has its nonstick layer mostly intact.I submitted this to the manufacturer for a warranty replacement as they promised a lifetime warranty, this was the response I received.:”Thank you very much for sending your pictures for a warranty inspection. Our lifetime warranty covers products to be free of any manufacturing defects at the time of purchase. However, it does not cover wear and tear, overheating, warping, and/or scratches in the coating. After reviewing your pictures, your cookware shows signs of overheating, scratching in the coating, and wear and tear, which is not covered by our lifetime warranty. We do apologize for this. Please let us know if you have any further questions, and we thank you for being a Tramontina customer.”Pretty lame. Won’t buy any Tramontina products again in the future.

I already had a couple of these, but they were old, so decided to replace them. I searched for these again as they are really are non stick and no need for any oil, even to cook eggs. Love them 💕
