Huge tramontina fan, and this works very well on induction
I’ve been a tramontina fan for years now. I’ve been using their 12″ and 8″ non-stick aluminum fry pans for general purpose use for ages and have most of the sauce pans and stock pots (all the way up to the VERY massive 24″, which I use for huge batches of chicken or smoked turkey stock when I have enough bones).I recently switched to induction and gave away my 8- and 12-inch aluminum fry pans which had some life left still, and picked up the 10-inch steel fry pan for smaller cooks on the new induction surface. It’s a very flat, nice and thick and heavy bottom. Great ergonomics on the handle, great nonstick capability, heats evenly (tested with a temp probe) across the surface and VERY quickly with induction. Over all, VERY happy with it, and much more usable than the 8″ I had before.

Great for eggs
I bought this frying pan just for eggs, the one thing I’ve never figured out how to cook on cast iron without making a huge mess, and I am immensely pleased with it. The 8 inch pan is the perfect size for 2-3 eggs, it heats quickly and evenly, and any leftover egg residue wipes right off with a paper towel. Obviously, since it’s teflon-lined (“Starflon”-brand PTFE), don’t overheat it or use metal implements or abrasive cleaners around it or you’ll damage the lining and expose yourself to the chemicals that bond it to the steel.I think my only minor gripe is that I wish it had the much stouter handle from the Tramontina saucepan I bought recently. On the other hand maybe the lightweight crushed-tube handle is necessary to keep from tipping over this much lighter fry pan when empty, I’m not sure.

Most durable surface I’ve found at a reasonable price.
Works great on induction stove top, heats faster/hotter than others I’ve had.

Induction compatible
Works well on our induction stove. Cleans up easily. Of course wash it by hand, like any other non stick pan.

Great non-stick pan
We needed to get this tri ply to work with our induction cooktop. It;s been great. Cooks without any issues and easy to clean. We will get another when our other old one needs relacing.

Perfect for making one or two eggs
Perfect size for making a couple of scrambled eggs, a personal sized omelet, or french toast,I like to use plenty of oil, so the risk of scorching are reduced. Significant other doesn’t use as much oil, so occasionally have to soak it in soapy water when something sticks to the non-stick surface. Use enough. Usually, with sufficient oil, just have to wipe off the pan after it has cooled down.Pros:1. Perfect for one or two eggs or equivalent.2. Non stick surface easily wipes offCons:1.noneWould definitely recommend to a friend or give as a gift.

I use this pan exclusively for eggs. If you really need non-stick for something, and have induction equipment, this is the pan for you. If you’re not on induction Tramontina has more affordable aluminum options with the same PTFE coating.

Iâve only had it for a week. But damn. This is the best pan Iâve ever used.Never going back to other nonstick pans.Iâm a bodybuilder and this pan is a game changer for me.

I bought some Tremontina pans in a few different sizes because of a Wirecutter review. Then we got an induction stove and they no longer worked. I liked them enough to source out the same pans in an induction-friendly version because Iâve found them so useful. I still use cast iron pans for some things, but have switched to these much more often because theyâre lighter, easier to clean (and non-stick, of course).

Really requires careful handling so as not to scratch the surface. Use wood implements only. Cannot be used on medium high or high burner. Slow to heat up. No cover.
