Best peeler
I have never had a peeler work quite so smoothly and with as little effort as this peeler. Obviously the larger size makes it ideal to thinkly shred cabbage for okonomiyaki, sauerkraut, coleslaw, etc. The ergononic design is an added bonus for such an economic price.

Like it!
I like this utensil, it does the job very well. The blade is sharp so it shreds cabbage easily. Handle is large enough to allow an easy grip for good control. Great value.

It is sharp and effective
I use this to shave cabbage and while it can have awkwardoments, that’s a user issue. This makes the job go amazingly quickly and makes for easier clean up than anything else I have tried. The handle size/grip is good for me and I am pleased with the purchase.

Choose your seller wisely!
I first bought this product from Neo Field of Japan, and the item arrived in the packaging pictured, made in Japan. It was perfectâworks great. I decided to buy another for a friend and ordered again, not paying attention to the seller. The second one I ordered was sent from Salman Biswas Store, and it was a cheap knockoff. It was packaged in a flimsy cellophane bag, and it was nowhere near as high quality as the first one I purchased. Cheap thinner plastic. Shame on them!

Easy to use | Sharp | Lightweight | Angel-fine shreds
The power of a good shredder!! I love to cook with cabbage–cooked dishes, salads, you name it–but until now, I haven’t been able to get it as finely shredded as I would like. I have tried food processors, chef knives, and even a wooden cabbage shredder (with a steel blade)–but nothing was quite right. The cole slaw and cabbage salads I made were still a little too coarse and tough for my liking. Well, this little shredder is quite right. It makes the finest shreds you can imagine. I even use the finely shredded cabbage in place of lettuce in salads, because the shreds come out so fine and delicate. (Shredded cabbage also lasts longer in the fridge than lettuce, which helps with meal prep). My two favorite finely-shredded cabbage creations this week were a “Mersey Jikes'” dupe of their Italian salad, made with shredded cabbage, salami, ham, cheese, onions (this shredder also works nicely on onions), jarred peppers, tomatoes, and oil & vinegar dressing. I made a cabbage soup to die for (using the New England Soup Factory recipe). Next on tap: finely shredded red cabbage and apple slaw with dried cranberries. Oh, the possibilities.

AMAZING
Gives you the thinnest sliced cabbage one could ask for. Where has this been all my life? Can also use for onions and other vegetables.
