Nice set
These mixing bowls look and feel very sturdy and nice.They are larger than I expected.It’s the only set I found that has the thumb ring like the old Farberware I like.

Perhaps the best Stainless Mixing bowls, period !
After reading many of the reviews and posting many questions, I cannot be more pleased. The lids are opaque Polypropylene, which is among the safest and most durable materials for the kitchen. They are thick (think Frisbee) and seal better than most lid equipped items. These are as good or better than commercial restaurant stainless. (I have seen pans that are thinner than these) They are either a heavy gauge, or it seems its actually a double wall construction. The edges are rolled and there are no weld marks or rough edges at all. Even the ring is big and heavy; about half dollar size. The value is hard to beat and probably better than sets costing multiple times more. Plan to post some photos later.

Better than advertised.
An earlier review noted the lids did not fit snugly. At first I thought this might be true of those that I bought. I just needed to apply more pressure and the fit was perfect. I would not hesitate to transport any kind of food in these bowls. I also appreciate the depth of them.

I purchased these because I wanted metal bowls with the ring on them. The lids were an extra. I havenât used them much, but I like the bowls. Lids, not so much. I managed to get the lid on the large bowl with some difficulty. I used the small bowl a couple of days ago and itâs been impossible to get it completely on. I can ALMOST get it popped on, but I just canât get it on completely which makes it useless. Maybe itâs because I just donât have enough strength anymore because I am getting older, but they shouldnât be that difficult. Take this review however you choose to.

Stainless=Safe cooking
Stainless is such a good choice for cooking. Light as plastic but totally cleanable. The rings on the work bowls add stability if you are whisking or mixing. The bowls come clean with a rubber spatula. Three-bowl set is nice because one can complete the “mise en place” for most recipes using various bowl sizes. I would like to add a fourth, smaller bowl, to my set. Depending on what you use the bowls for, I always use one more small two-cup bowl (16 oz.) for an egg or scraps. The bowl sizes are a tiny bit large, perhaps. Oh and if your fingers are big, the rings are easier to grip. A tiny bit smaller rings would’ve been nice for me.

Who doesn’t love stainless? These bowls are heavy duty and work perfectly. Good for both mixing and storage with the lids provided. When I purchase off amazon, I do a fair amount of research to make sure I’m buying the best product at the best price. I found these mixing bowls to be a great product at the right price.

Excellent for an RV (homes, too)!
Storage is always an issue in our RV, particularly for bulky items that are needed frequently. After months of constantly moving things to get to my mixing bowls I realized I had the perfect spot on the side of a cabinet where I could hang them but I had to find a set with rings and tight fitting lids. This set from Tovolo fit my parameters. An additional perk is I can hang my wire rack/stand for the convection oven/microwave and the bowls nest perfectly inside. After a year+ of use this bowls are still wonderful. Just purchased another set for my small 1930 kitchen.
