Great knifes
These are great for kids to learn how to cut. They do not seem to cut the skin, but will cut through fruits and veggies well. We have not tried it with anything hard like carrots yet but will update if it doesnât work. It is definitely a fair price for the set of three. It seems to be very comfortable for kids to use and hold in their hands. They look like the pictures. I would recommend

A good set of children’s knives for when they can really begin starting to help in the kitchen
This is a cute set of three different sized children knives, each having a different colored handle. They are nicely designed. Meant for children aged 4 years and older, these knives are very similar in look to ceramic knives meant for adults. The handles used on this child’s knife set are sized appropriately for children, being long and large enough for them to grip and hold them securely. The blades used on this knife set are all serrated, and are sharp enough to actually be able to cut (or saw) through some foods, yet remain dull enough that children will not accidentally cut themselves when learning how to use them. It is important to realize this set of children’s knives are not a pretend play set of knives, but rather a true set of child safe knives. My 3.5 year old loves using these! They work well for soft things, like bananas or cutting a sandwich. However it does take some strength for them to cut through some things since theyâre not sharp. I bought these for my granddaughters visit. She is 6 years old. I wanted to let her participate in meal prep. These worked pretty well. She had to saw through things to get the harder vegetables to chop up, but I believe that is what makes them safe for her to use. It was a hit and she enjoyed helping in the kitchen.

Perfect knives for my daughter to cook dinner with me
So my daughter cooks dinner with me EVERY night, and now she has the ability to do the cutting! She loves these knives. They are safe enough that I donât fear she will cut herself. I even let her take then to school for show and tell when the letter was âKâ (her teachers definitely judged me) they were a bit pricey but we use them often enough that I feel as though they are well worth it! They are even helping them ten year old son with cutting steak and chicken during dinner. The colors are very appealing also!

Great for kids!
We bought these when my kid was 5 and he still uses them now at 7. He loves to help us cook but it was never really a “help” before when I had to hover around as he was chopping veggies to make sure he didn’t hurt himself. Now I can safely let him help with cooking and only need to glance over every 30 seconds. Don’t get me wrong, they are still sharp! So we still treat them as if they’re real knives, but any injury from these would be minor in comparison to a real knife. These are great and I love that they come in various sizes.
