Yes, it is probably lousy for actually baking with, but that isn’t why I bought it. In my Toddler Busy Book, there is an activity that required a ‘muffin pan’. I have a high-quality pan in my pantry, but didn’t want my 2 year old messing with that one. So, I got a cheap alternative – this one. It fits his balls, kicky bags, and racquet balls with ease and is smooth all over, no risk of cuts from the metal. It is also lightweight and small (though probably wouldn’t fit in my toaster oven either like a previous reviewer complained), which works great for my son since he can lift it and handle it without trouble. If you want an actual pan for baking, perhaps you should look elsewhere, but for fun game ideas with your little one? This is perfect!!!

These are larger than standard muffin cups so the muffins flatten out on top. Standard cook times have to be adjusted slightly

I bought these for my kids to use in their play kitchen. I was having trouble finding play cookware that wasn’t ridiculously expensive or cheaply made so I stopped shopping in the toy department and ended up purchasing these. They’re lightweight yet durable and the perfect size for little hands and fit in with the rest of their playset and kitchen. The best part is that when they’re done playing with them, I can use them in my kitchen. We have an older home with limited storage space (seriously, what were they thinking in the 40’s??!) and I actually like the idea of smaller pans like this. Let’s be honest, it’s not like you bake cupcakes or muffins unless you absolutely have to (ie the PTA corners you and tells you IT’S TIME YOU CONTRIBUTED) and those huge pans are just taking up valuable storage space in your cupboards. Buy smaller and keep your kitchen happy!

Stickers stuck forever
The informational stickers are incredible difficult to remove when the product is new. In scraping them off, I scratched the inside of the muffin tins. Once ready to use the tins worked well in my toaster oven to make muffin.
