Updated Review: Burns toast on lowest setting
Updated on 8/29/24I’ve never upgraded the stars on a review before, but here it is! Initially, this toaster burned everything on the lowest settings. I had to “babysit” it, and manually pop the food out before it got burnt. Now, after multiple uses, the toaster works as-expected. Don’t ask me what changed, but it doesn’t burn the food anymore. I can adjust the setting based on what I put in the slots and get the amount of darkness I expect.So, I love the design of this toaster – it looks great on my countertop. I don’t even feel the need to get a cover for it. It doesn’t have a ton of options on the control panel, but it is plenty for me.There is still one downside. The sides do get very hot, so you can’t touch most of the toaster’s surfaces during and right after toasting.Overall, I’m glad I had a good outcome regarding the over-toasting issue because I had no plans to throw it out. I’m happy with the toaster.Original Review Below.===================Very attractive toaster. Unfortunately, it nearly burns the toast on the lowest setting.I don’t have an option to return it now. If I used it every day I’d have to get something different right away. Since I only use it approx. once per week, I’ll probably live with it for awhile and just “monitor” the toaster every time I use it. So, I can’t recommend this toaster unless you want to babysit it every time.

Great looking toaster, works well so far. I only wish it came in a 4-slot, but for the price I can live with it. The only complaint is for something thin like a PopTart they tend to slip down as thereâs too much of a gap at bottom of adjusting rack.

Still getting used to what setting to use but it’s a pretty decent toaster, also it looks really cool. It’s probably not real copper but the 2 tone color looks good and it’s not a huge size which is good as I need all the counter space I can get. I like that it has a dial and is more old-school functioning instead of a million settings or worse digital, cause i avoid extra digital anything, just more things to figure out or that can go wrong. I tried to get by without a toaster but now I’m really glad I broke down and spent about 10 bucks more than I planned to because it’s way nicer than the ones at target .I hope it lasts cause I really like it. Also it was delivered earlier than I thought I would get it so someone is on the ball. Maybe I don’t have much of a life because I’m happy about getting a neat-o toaster early but it is what it is. Anyway yay, everything went well , item works and is better than expected and fast delivery. Be happy for small victories.

Absolutely LOVE it’s appearance!It’s instructions says (settings) – 1 is light, and 6 is the darkest…so I tried 3, thinking that would be half way. It turned out pretty scorched.Ended up using 1 – so that was ok.Also, I am very disappointed it arrived with a dent (see picture)
