Okay, this toaster is plain old fun! I’ve wanted one for years, ever since I saw one, but the reviews weren’t great, so I decided to pass. So here comes Prime Days 2021 and this glass-sided toaster pops up. Price is good and the reviews – 4.5 stars – is worth a look-see. So ultimately, I opted to purchase it. It arrived the next day and I set up right after I returned home with 6 bagels and a sour batard.My old toaster is a 2-slice, basic model that didn’t work all that well, and bottom line, I really needed/wanted a long slot model that could handle the non-regulation slices of sourdough bread, so here we are.To begin with, the look of this toaster is cool. No other way to put it. But does it work? It most certainly does. I started with a bagel, face out (there’s a bagel setting), so I could watch my bagel toast to the exact brown I wanted. The toaster has 7 browning settings, but you can stop it at any time when the exact amount of brownness is reached.Unlike most toasters, this one doesn’t have a up/down lever. It’s all automatic. You set the bread at the top of the slot, press start (or bagel then start) and it lowers the bread into the machine. You can then watch it brown before your very eyes. If it doesn’t brown enough before the toast “pops” (and it rises slowly back up so you can grab your toast), you can hit “start” again and down it goes. If it starts to brown too much, the Start button is also the Cancel button. Press that and it raises your toast to where you can grab it easily.In addition to the 7 browning settings, there is the aforementiioned Bagel setting and a Defrost setting. The single long slot is also about 1.5″ wide, making it useful for Texas Toast or bread you slice yourself. The glass panel slides out for easy cleaning as does the crumb tray underneath.I wouldn’t normally have this much to say about a toaster, but as I said earlier, this baby is waaaay cool!

Better Than Diamond Earrings
I bought this toaster in January of 2020. It is now September, and I have had no issues with it. I haven’t owned a toaster for 20 years; I had a toaster oven. Honestly, although I like the concept of a do-it-all small oven with convection ability, the actual toasting function took way too long; not so much ‘toast’ in the ‘toaster oven’. Go figure. So when my husband asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I asked him to get me a toaster. Yes ladies, I know, I’m not supposed to ask for those things. And what did he do? He got me diamond earrings instead. What a jerk. So I ended up having to find a toaster on my own. (sigh). I had very specific criteria for my toaster; wide slot for buns, bagels etc and a long slot for an entire piece of sourdough bread sliced right off a big boule; plus even toasting. This toaster hit it right out of the park. Not only does it toast perfectly, but I get to watch my sweet delicious sourdough get to that perfect color of golden brown. Some reviewers have mentioned that they don’t like the beeping tone when it’s done, but it doesn’t bother me, although I will admit it’s fairly loud. It is a big hit when my kids visit, too. Fun for the whole family. In summary, this toaster’s been working perfectly for 8 months and although I like my earrings a lot; they’re pretty and sparkly; my favorite gift was to myself; my see through, perfectly toasting and wonderfully versatile Cusimax toaster.

Does’t work as designed
The toaster is a novel idea and I had high hopes for it. It worked well for 2 weeks, then randomly stopped rasing the toast. I turned it off and on and it worked for 10 more days. Now it will not elevate that toast at all. Really not fun to unplug so as not to shock myself, find a thin pair of tongs and retrieve that toast. The company has not responded to my inquiries for replacement, repair or refund.

Overall a good toaster, but pricey
I love the sleek look of this toaster and being able to toast large pieces of artisan bread without cutting it into two pieces. I really love being able to see your toast so that it doesn’t get overdone, and the gentle lowering and raising of the toast, as opposed to the jerky popping up of toast in a traditional toaster. It doesn’t seem to toast the middle of the toast that well, since there’s no heating element in the area of the window. But it toasts evenly enough.It has a modern aesthetic that fits my kitchen well and so I don’t have a problem leaving this toaster out on the counter like I did my chunky plastic Toastmaster.It has a very long and very loud “BEEEEEP!” that it shouts when the toast is done. Super annoying but not a deal-breaker. I can always cancel it before it finishes on its own and it won’t beep.I don’t understand why it has an on/off button in addition to the start/cancel button. You have to turn it on first, then start it, and you have to turn it off when you’re done. Seems unnecessary, but again, not a deal-breaker.The cord is designed to come out on the same side as the operating controls. If you run it under the toaster to come out the opposite side, it doesn’t leave much cord to get to the outlet but it’s enough for me.Overall I think it’s a little pricey for a toaster, but it looks very nice in the kitchen, doesn’t take up a lot of room on the counter, and it does its job, so I kept it.

This toaster makes very tasty toast that is nice and crispy on the outside and still a bit moist on the inside. I really like that a lot. The lowering-raising mechanism is very-very quiet and that’s why it needs the beeper. But the beeper is a bit loud in my opinion. Also it has an on/off button that is independent of the start/cancel button. You need to turn the toaster on first then press start. When your toast is done it automatically stops, but the power stays on. You need to press the on/off button again to shut the unit completely down. I find this an un-necessary step. I don’t know if you can just leave it powered on indefinitely. I wish it would just shut itself off after some time. Overall its a very nice toaster and looks great too. I recommend it.

Iâm really happy with this toaster. It looks great, is easy to use, and toasts very well. The window has been super helpful at quickly learning the best settings for the various breads/buns we toast in our house. For me, itâs levelled up my frozen gluten free bread. It was larger than I was expecting and it a bit too wide, but totally worth the trade off.

I had a clear side toaster that was showing its age and liked the concept so much that I decided to replace it with another. After comparing features and prices I found this on sale and ordered it. It was delivered within 4 days!Itâs a sleek slick toaster. Easily cleaned, nice long slot and doesnât use a lot of counter space. Toasts evenly at average speed. Some have complained about the beep when itâs finished, I am unperturbed by it. Since the toaster doesnât make a clunk like regular toasters when finished you need the beep. I have, however, never owned a toaster with a power button. It would be nice if it had auto off.

Like the idea you can see both sides of what ever you are toasting. It is well built and quite sturdy. Very easy to use and toasts both sides evenly. It fits on our counter nicely and matches our other appliances perfectly. I have no complaints about this toaster. Other people who see it say they want one like that to.
