Excellent quality at a decent price
This is my second Saflon, previous model was a 11` wok pan and i`m very happy with it. It`s a realy high quality pan and easily cleaning. And, right now I bought a Saflon pan for quick cooking, soup and sauce. This is an excellent pan. The price is right for a sturdy, nice weight, non stick addition to any kitchen.I read reviews on many more expensive pans and woks before bought them, and I decided to take a chance to these. I am so glad I did! I love the fact that it comes with protective bags for both the pan and the cover. The glass cover is great so you can see what is cooking and overall I am extremely pleased. As result, I would recommend Saflon pans and woks to everyone.

This is the best pot/pan I’ve ever had.
Sturdy without being too heavy for me to lift with weak wrists. Easy grip handle. Smooth inner coating that doesn’t peel off and easily wipes clean. Even heat distribution all the way across and through entire pan. Quick heating. I don’t cook a lot any more so this is just the right size for me and my spouse ages 68 and 74. The visual design is simple elegance not clunky ugly. I will order the matching fry pan soon.

An excellent upgrade for my kitchen
I’ve been looking for a replacement for my old small saucepans, but I tend to not like the ‘typical’ brands of cookware for one reason or another. I bought this pan and have used it for several meals of varying types, and have found it an excellent addition to my kitchen. It does take a little longer for it to reach boiling point than my previous pans, but I think that is simply because it is thicker. I found that for simmering something (like I tend to), this pan results in a more evenly cooked, better tasting result than my older pans. I also really like the aesthetic and heft of it.Also to note: there was a small problem with the pan, and when I reached out to Saflon, they were very quick to respond and correct the problem. Excellent customer service, and much appreciated!So, a quality product and good customer service? I think this Saflon pan will not be the only one I purchase, as time goes on.

Great pan, very good looking, but…
I love this pan. Everything about it is quality with one exception, which it loses a star for. The pan is easy to clean and the lid is also excellent. The star is lost because the underside of the handle nearest the pan gets scorched, even when using a small burner, which I always use with this size pan. If you have electric, maybe this won’t happen, but I have gas.

3 Quart Saucepan is an excetional value
Noted some user complaints regarding the saucepans handle burning. Once received, I filled the saucepan with water and placed it on my largest burner. That burner produces a 5.5″ diameter flame and is touted as 18,000 BTU. Boiling occurred fast and exceptionally even. My old saucepan would always boil on its outside edges because that is where the gas flame hit it. This one boiled uniformly and even boiled in its center where there is no flame. The pan tapers from 8.2″ at its top down to 6.2″ at its base making it somewhat bigger than the gas flame. As a result the handle is not directly exposed to the gas flame and was not damaged. However, on smaller saucepans that may not be the case and you may want to limit their exposure to only the smaller burners. My recommendation for the 3-quart pan would be to measure the size of your gas flame, if it’s less than 6″ in diameter then this pan is an exceptional value.

Great pans!
Actually, we ordered (I thought) a one-quart and a two-quart saucepan with lid. These pans are wonderful! Love them! They arrived in great shape, and with explanations to use the cloth bags that came with them for storing them. Have been using them a lot, and will continue to do so. Turns out the lid for the bigger pan fits on another pan we have that came without a lid, so we get double use of it. I can update this when we’ve had them longer, but we’ve already used them a lot in the few days we’ve had them. Oh! Some of what we love: the lids fit beautifully, and because they are glass, we can see what’s going on in the pan. The handles on the pans and the lids do not get hot, so I don’t have to use hot pads to lift them off. The pans are very sturdy, and the bottoms nice and flat. They also heat very evenly. That’s very helpful when we’re in a place with an old electric stove. We like the bags for storage to make sure they don’t get scratched when put away.

The product is great. I have been using Safflon for years. Great customer service by this seller. The only down side is that they use the same pictures for all three different sizes. It took me three tries to get the product that I wanted. Another down side was the customer service donât actually have the product with them, so it was difficult to get an answer about product detail from the CS. Overall, great experiences with some frustration. Would definite buy from them again.
