We grow squash in our garden. We put a spoon of mashed squash on our dog’s food. So when the squash is ready to harvest, we have an overabundance. So I cook and mash them, then put the mashed squash in these containers to freeze. Now I have a stash that will last me all winter. I just take out a container and put it in the fridge a day or so before needed and it is thawed out. These aren’t really sturdy and won’t last forever, but they work well for our use. They were a lot more expensive than the last time I bought them.

I bought TashiBox food storage containers several months ago, and based on my experience using them, they are of excellent quality. They are made of durable plastic that has maintained its shape. Sturdy. stackable, & lightweight, but plastic peels
Pros:-Easy to wash in dishwasher.-Stack/ nest well for storage.-Sturdy enough to protect the food inside but still light enough that they donât add bulk/ weight to my lunch bag.-Very cost-effective in comparison to the Ziploc (Twist & Lock) containers I was using before.Cons:-The plastic is much thinner and does not feel as high-quality/ durable as the Ziploc Twist & Lock containers off the same size.- The plastic peels easily – especially on the lid. I put removable labels on the lids so when I go to peel them off I almost always end up peeling off a thin layer of plastic too. (See photo.)Overall, I like these containers but Iâm still on the fence as to whether Iâll repurchase them. The Ziploc containers are definitely higher quality and the peeling issue – though mostly just cosmetic – bothers me. Given how many containers you get for the price though, I donât know that Iâll ever need to repurchase ANY containers of this size for a long time anyway!

Everything arrived safely with no damage. The lids fit really well and are totally leak-proof. I turned a container with water upside down and shook it around and not a drop. The material is nice and flexible, and seems sturdy. Note though that the containers are plastic no. 5, polypropylene, but the lids are marked 4, LDPE. Anyway, don’t put the lids through the drying cycle in your dishwasher because they’d warp after a while. Overall I’m very happy with these and they seem like they’re going to last a long time and store really compactly.

Die Dosen sind für den Preis recht gut.Die Deckel sind etwas zerbrechlich, aber mit etwas Feingefühl gut handzuhaben.Leider sind jedoch 2 der Dosen beschädigt angekommen. Sie sind am Rand eingerissen und somit nicht mehr Luft und Wasserdicht. AuÃerdem kann das Plastik jederzeit abbrechen und in das Essen fallen, somit nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Schade…Allerdings war das auch zu erwarten, da die Dosen in einem zu groÃen Karton geliefert wurden. Zwar war in dem Karton eine Reihe Plusterfolie, doch die Dosen hatten trotzdem noch einige Zentimeter Raum. Eine zweite Reihe Plusterfolie wäre hier besser gewesen. (Siehe Bild)Ich hoffe ihr habt mehr Glück bei der Verpackung, denn die Dosen sind echt praktisch, vorallem da alle Deckel auf jede gröÃe passt.LG
