I thought these were OK quality when I purchased. They did the trick, but after the first wash the potato peelerâs (smaller peeler) blade broke off.
The reason for the 4 stars is that the other peeler still works perfectly fine. Decent for the price for sure.

I like the peelers very much. Good sturdy weight, good quality sharp blades with smooth peels. I bought a set for a friend who likes to cook for family.

Zinc alloy handle is heavy for what it is. Handle is “guaranteed not to rust”. Black rubber grip on top. While it’s stated that the blade is “Japanese high-carbon steel”, “which is better than stainless steel”, I’m not confident it’s not going to rust quickly. Cabon-steel is highly susceptible to corrosion and oxidation. It’s going to need to be washed and dried thoroughly immediately after use. I recommend watching out for moisture trapped in the pivot holes of the blade. You defintely don’t want to leave this to soak in dishwater nor with peels still stuck to it.
