This pot is well designed with comfort in mind while still being an adequate size for large meals. I have 10 people who live in my home and this 5qt pot is a must. Stainless steel is easy to clean, durable, and can be used on gas or electric (we have both). The strainer is fantastic! Where has this design been all my life!

REALLY NICE
I just received this and it looks and feels really nice. It is much more sturdy than other pans that I have purchased. I don’t want aluminum in my food so I was looking for stainless steel and found this pan. The handles are great because they are insulated so that you don’t get burned by hot handles. This pan is just the right size for spaghetti and has a lid that can be used to drain water from the pasta.

Like the design features – locking lid, strainers – but this pot takes forever to heat water. I have a cheap $20 pot purchased at the Asian market that heats water rapidly so I thought a quality TFAL product would have been better.

Good, sturdy pot
The handles are what made me buy this potâ¦it replaced a pot that had handles that were held on by only one screw and had gotten dangerously loose (despite being tightened frequently). But the size of this pot is very handy, itâs perfect for boiling noodles or making soup. Itâs sturdy and washes well.Itâs a good pot.

Worth the money
Cooks well, cleans well. I especially like that I can put it into the oven as some dishes start on top of the stove and then move into the oven. It is much lighter than our cast iron dutch oven, but cast iron retains heat better. There are marking inside the pot showing how many quarts of liquid you’ve put in–a nice touch.

I’d been keeping an ear to the ground for a good-sized Dutch oven/stockpot and I’ve had mostly good luck with T-Fal and jumped when I found this one for a good price. It arrived today and I was a little suprised at how LIGHT it is- it feels almost cheap, but I tried it out (after washing it, of course) and it performed beautifully when I made a stew of beef, potatoes, onions, and kimchi with various Korean seasonings. No burned spots, and it held the heat perfectly. With my much heavier, much more expensive enamelled cast iron crock pot I am always finding bits burned when I make this dish because it gets so intensely hot. Heat distribution on my new pot seems excellent. And it cleaned up very easily.
