Not sure I will keep it. Very disappointed with the v slicer I bought to go along with this. Sent that back.I bought this to replace my old fine julienne mandolin that I use almost daily. It is getting dull after many years of use. The old one is a Swiss brand with intials K.R. Thought this brand would be higher end. Not so. This item feels flimsy in the hand. It does not have any type of silicon gripper to stop it from traveling along the cutting board nor does it have a groove that allows it to sit on the edge of the bowl as does other Swiss product with the initials K.R.(at a similar price point) The julienne is very fine, as it should be. The lack of control is the issue. It should be simple, you hold it with one hand and julienne with the other but I feel like I am struggling to keep this thing under control. I will give it another try and update this review. For now, it is just o.k.

Love this for carrots for salad.
The only thing I use this for as of now, is for my carrots when I make a salad. I LOVE the way it’s so easy and the pieces are small and consistent.

The slicer is very sharp and cut really good. The only thing I don’t like about it, since it’s white it gets really stained from carrots. It’s what I but it for and preferred it over the orange one but now I have stains on it. Other then that it’s an awesome slicer. Something I have been looking for for years.
