The material is very soft and the bag is nice and full. Warms up quickly and feels great on stiff and sore muscles. Only drawback is that it does not hold the heat as long as I would like, but easy to heat up for a second round.

I live with horrible lower back pain after fracturing my sacrum (lower back) several years ago. I bought this in hopes of bringing down swelling and to use heated for comfort. This works amazing and itâs just what I needed! Itâs fairly large, which is great, and itâs very well constructed so I know itâll last. The first time I used it I took it out of the freezer and it actually goes right across my back. I was impressed that it stayed cold for about a half hour and it was very comfortable too. The next time I used it I microwaved it. It was nice and warm and felt terrific across my shoulders and neck. Very relaxing and it probably stayed warm about 20 minutes or so. I love this thing! Reasonably priced with multiple uses. I like the fact that itâs big enough to use across the back or shoulders.I would highly recommend buying one. Itâs all pros and no cons. I love it! Like you can use cold or hot. Was able to wrap around my injured ankle and secure with a wrap. Also used hot around my neck.My only complaint I’d it doesn’t hold the heat very long.

This is the third time I have purchased this as I am buying for friends. I love it! It creates a “moist heat” and is great for sore muscles. I use it on my stomach each night to help with digestion and irritable bowel. It works wonders! You can also freeze it in the freezer too for a cold compact. It feels good as it is weighted with the filling. Great purchase! You can add essential oils if you want to have it smell good. Well made, very nice quality and does the job! I usually heat mine for 1 min and 10-15 seconds.

A formerly great product has gone downhill
I bought on of these a couple years ago. It was great because it was packed full of rice or whatever, which made it kind of heavy, and it held a ton of heat, and you could drape it across your shoulder and it would stay in a way the smaller ones simply can’t.I hurt my shoulder last week but I couldn’t find it because I moved a few months ago and haven’t found it yet. So I ordered another one. It came in a couple days ago and it’s basically the same item but there’s only maybe half the rice in it. It still works. It’s not bad, but it’s not as good as the old one–I would’ve given the older one a 5 because it used to be a great product.

It caught fire
I followed the instructions and I put it in the microwave to warm up for two minutes and it caught fire. So I take it out of the microwave by carrying the plate the microwave plate and some of the beads fell off and landed in my garbage can which I only realized later. And I went to my balcony and threw it out into the snow And thereâs almost nothing left of it it just totally totally burned and I walked back into the house of my garbage camels on fire so I took my entire garbage can to the balcony and dumped it over the edge. I have to go clean that up this morning. And Iâm just lucky I didnât microwave it for those two massive minutes and then go to the bathroom or something because my apartment building wouldâve caught fire. Iâd ask for a refund but Iâve got nothing to send back. Donât buy this it is an extremely dangerous product. In fact Iâll probably try and figure out how to get it taken off the M on site in general because it caught fire and that makes it just dangerous. Horrible product. If you buy it you risk death

I’ve use wheat filled bags before, but ordered this because of the stitched sections & bigger size. I wasn’t disappointed, this is lovely, very soft on both sides, grains etc stay in place & it’s a great size. I’ve used it on abdomen & it’s not too heavy. Very easy to heat, I have found 2mins in a 1000w microwave is perfect. Wish I’d found it sooner.
