I purchased 4 of these after my first one
I’ve been using home made tube socks filled with rice which work perfectly fine for years however I wanted to have wider coverage of my back etc which I don’t get from the roll type sock. I should have gotten this item long ago… Some key notes are the velcro allows for tighter positioning anywhere like a knee or elbow and simply being able to walk around while wearing it is a game changer. It holds the heat for a very generous long amount of time and the material is quite comfy. It is double sided which is a thoughtful feature for winter time or summer use. I would have like to be able to have a cover that comes off to wash but it doesn’t though they provide a mesh bag to wash it in, have not done yet. I most likely would soak if sink as a delicate, not in washing machine or dryer. Definitely needs to be microwaved for at least 2 mins, I do 3 and my other micro that is not as strong for 4 mins. I’m used to wearing these daily so it may be too hot for some which you can play with the time duration. Have never tried freezing it and probably won’t having separate items for that. Another huge factor is there is a lot of stuffing, it is very well filled unlike many others so you really get a concentrated heat w/even dispersement. This is not cheaply made at all, stitching is strong and overall quality for the price is more than I expected. I use this daily, really researched the different brands and this hit all the marks after experiencing it. Bought all my family one.

I have had several microwaveable pads before, but they did not last long. Several had beads loose inside the pad, and without a belt, the pebbles would gravitate to areas I did not need to heat. The channel stitching of the heating materials prevents this problem and, in combination with the belt (with an available extension for harder-to-reach areas), keeps the heat moist where I want it. I have a higher-power microwave, so I followed the instructions on the length of time in the microwave. The result was that it heated my back for 20 minutes, which was what my physiotherapist recommended. I have other pads for cold use, so I have not tried that function on this unit.

If you have lumbar pain and want to walk around the house this is perfect
This Microwavable heating pad is great. If I want to have heat on my lumbar but I also want to do small chores such as wash the dishes or if I want to lie down on my side this pad works wonderfully. It stays in place and keeps heat for about 45 minutes. It actually keeps heat longer than that but I like the heat to be very warm so 45 minutes is about the amount of time it stays nice an warm for me. It’s so soft, is stuffed perfectly making it the perfect for the amount of filling to move to the contours of my body but not so loose that the insides move around and aren’t touching my sore area. I’ve been using these type microwavable pads for several decades now and this brand is my favorite. I highly recommend.

Great fabric, love the velcro belt
Only used this three times in two days but I’m really happy with it so far.The product seems to be well made. The fabric is soft and comfortable. The beads inside are contained with stitching so they don’t slide around inside. The belt secures well making the use portable if desired.I have given it two minutes in microwave and it seems really hot, but not sure that the heat lasts as long as I’d like. I need to experiment more.Overall very happy with the purchase.
