I tried to buy the blue one, but for four times I only received 4 random pieces instead of the full set of 16. Every time I had to bring back the item and every time I got disappointed again in the next shipping. It would have been a very nice set, I donât know who to blame for this.

Poor Quality Control
Product is nice, however the quality control is lacking, as shown in the photo there is a crack in the glaze of one of the large plates, should have never left the factory in this condition. Overall the colors are nice and the rest of the pieces are OK, the shape of the plates and bowls do not lend them to stacking well, they would take up a lot of room on the shelf so not recommend for a small kitchen. Would have been 4 stars except for the quality issue.

Dinnerware Plates and Bowls Set
I got the Sur La Table Kitchen 16 Piece Two Tone Dinnerware Plates and Bowls Set. They are red/white in color. They are made of porcelain.It is chip and scratch resistant. They are dish washer and microwave safe.This is good for a family of 4 as there are 4 dinner plates, 4 dessert plates, 4 dinner bowls and 4 cereal bowls. The red is not a true red color as it is more of a coral color and lighter than a normal red color. There are design flaws on these as you can see from the pictures that I have included. Having said that, these are still useable and serviceable.They are quite heavy and sturdy. Since they are made out of porcelain I would except them to last a long time. After using them, I put them in the dishwasher and they were cleaned off easily.
