The Sunnecko 8â high carbon stainless steel bread knife is a well made, attractive bread knife that cuts loaves of bread without squashing bread.The blade is a sturdy full tang construction made from German high-carbon stainless steel which is rust and corrosion resistant. It has a high 58 hardness on the Rockwell hardness scale which is a great hardness for cutting breads, vegetables and fruits.The laser engraved pattern on the blade is beautiful.It cuts loaves of bread easily and smoothly without crushing the bread.The ergonomic handle is made of Pakkawood and is comfortable to hold for extended periods of time. The wood pattern of the Pakkawood handle is gorgeous, no rivets. There is an S on the pommel for Sunnecko.Hand wash only as with all good knives, and especially knives with real wood handles.This knife should fit easily into any knife block, but it also comes with a handy sheath if needed.Beautiful knife that slices bread smoothly and without squashing the bread.Highly recommend!

Exceptional knife for bread and meat
This is now the sharpest kitchen knife I own. It glides through crunchy homemade bread crusts and dismembers overcooked roasts. It’s hard to describe how sharp this is and it is holding a good edge. Think stropped razor, it is that sharp. I would give this 6 stars if it were an option.I use this knife a lot already and can certainly recommend it.
